Yoga with Melissa 368 is a yoga class for you if you are feeling anxious, restless, tense, nervous, fearful, agitated, or sleepless. When we allow ourselves to be interrupted and preoccupied by what is happening in a careless, impulsive way, we become ungrounded, anxious, and tense. We start to feel nervous, fearful and even have trouble sleeping. This yoga class will allow you to become strongly grounded, feeling your roots, connected to your stillness and then there is an inherent and a possibility for a lightness of being.
The yoga postures will focus on your root chakra, your legs and feet and grounding. The yoga poses will also focus on bringing strength into your core and your upper body. When we come to standing we will focus on balancing postures: tree pose and eagle pose to harvest the grounding in your legs and feet and strength in your core to feel your stillness and also the lightness in your being.
