In this 72nd episode, I review The Chimera Sequence by Elliott Garber. This book was rich in action, cosmopolitan characters, science and medicine, and touching scenes. The narrator nailed every accent and his narration was spot on. Buy the Book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Chimera-Sequence-Elliott-Garber-ebook/dp/B00YB39DSM/ Check out the author's...

In this short story a kid named Nolan finally gets to join his big brother and his friends on a camping trip but on the way they realize they didn't bring matches. His brother makes him go back for them alone. The forest isn't so fun without people around. In fact it's kind of creepy, and that's before Nolan literally runs into someone.

In this episode I talk about how wonderful it was to make our little foster guy feel special on his birthday. We had the privilege to throw a foster child a birthday party again, and it was really cool. It was one of those days where my wife and I said to each other "These are the days that make it all seem worth it." What an honor it was to celebrate turning four with our foster child. He had a huge smile on his face that day.
