should be finished this week. doctors hope to start using it by december first.steffi lee, cbs 2 news. patients looking for more convenient access to healthcare now have a new option. option.today, mercy care community physicians cut the ribbon on a new telehealth clinic at the hy-vee store on edgewood road in northeast cedar rapids.it's the first clinic of its kind to offer on-site, diagnostic telehealth services for the public.mercy says it's opening in response to growing demand for convenient and accessible healthcare services.the clinic will start seeing patients in a week. at the same time, unity-point is expanding on cedar rapids' southwest side.right now - the plan is to move the family medicine clinic from edgewood road to a new location next to the menard's store on williams boulevard.the new building will bring a number of new services to the area.as for unity point's edgewood building - that will become a new urgent care clinic.unity

the project this spring. in waterloo... waterloo...the city is warning residents against giving infants tap water. water.waterloo water works says a well on east dale street had a nitrate level above what is allowed. officials shut down that well on friday and will keep it closed until nitrate levels are safe again.nitrates can cause health problems for young kids, especially infants. despite the probelm well, the city says its drinking water is safe. the university of iowa will soon be offering free measles, mumps, rubella, or m-m-r, vaccinations to students under 25. 25.tomorrow will be the first of five opportunities to get the vaccine this month.more than 100-cases of mumps have been reported on campus in the last few months.the vaccinations will be offered at the iowa memorial union 7-p-m. right now... now...more than five thousand american flags dot the west

lawn of the pentacrest.over the weekend, the u-i veterans association placed the flags to honor veterans who are linked to the u-i community. veterans day is wednesday and the flags will remain on display through saturday. an outpouring of corridor generosity is helping not one, but two veterans. veterans.in just a few weeks a second veteran will get to bring home a service and companion dog.these special dogs help ease symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder, or p-t-s-d.it all started when a sister asked for community support to pay for a service dog for her veteran brother.not only did the community raise enough - they also raised two and a half times what they needed.so the siblings chose to spread the word looking for more vets to help in the same way.
