192k VBR, 130 minutes, for Michael Sheppard
Michael produced events, books, CDs, DVDs, bootlegs, readings. He called his work Transparency (after Duchamp). His devotion and loyalty to his artists and friends was fierce and unquestionable. He was my friend and I will miss him. This is an elegy a tribute and a judgment. We love you, Michael. Thanks for all the surprises.
Set list: Johnny Nash-I Can See Clearly Now / Nina Simone-The Look of Love (Madison Park Vs. Lenny B Remix) / Michael Sheppard Interviewed by Lance Rock on killradio (4 September 2015) / Sun Ra-Space Is The Place (Helsinki 1971 Finnish radio) / Alessandra Celletti-Satie and Ravel (Zipper Hall, Los Angeles 5 December 2009) / Lane Steinberg-Fading Out / Dark Chemistry-Is It Any Wonder? / Comitatus-You Can't Win / Lewis Black on Tax Cuts / The Nice-America (7") / Cavern of Anti Matter-Tardis Cymbals / Alessandra Celletti-Starmilk (composed by Lawrence Ball, from Above The Sky) / Matmos-Ultimate Care 8 / Elvis Presley-We're Coming In Loaded (remix) / Nina Simone-To Love Somebody (Chris Coco Remix) / Velvet Underground-I Can't Stand It (Complete Matrix Tapes, November 1969)
