burning highway. both directions were closed after a container transported on the back of a flatbed trailer flew off and landed on the southbound lane on the inner loop. no one was hurt, but the bridge is closed until further notice. an arrest was made this morning in the october shooting of a coppin state athlete. police arrested anthony jones where he worked near b.w.i. marshall airport he is arrested in the killing of a coppin student. he was shot just blocks from campus after an attempted robbery. a howard county man whose home was hit by a car earlier this month has been arrested. he was struck with running a marijuana operatio in his hundred -- operation in is home. it was being inspected for structural damage when marijuana

plants were discovered. last night's shooting along matthews street is a homicide investigation. the victim suffered from a gunshot wound to the head and is now pronounced dead. just before 9:30, investigators found the victim with a gunshot wound and transferred him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. police say a shooting victim was shot in the stomach on linwood ave at 11:15. no word on that person's condition or a possible suspect. it was a day of remembrance as family and friends lay to rest six people killed in the house fire last week. the empowerment temple was filled with people that it came to pay their respects and say goodbye to members of is that of the family -- members of the family. >> i miss them and i love them.

through the south, through atlanta and the carolinas, virginia, and hugged the coast. if that happens, you are talking a major winter event. blizzard conditions, snowfall over a foot. one thing we can say is that if this does happen, the coastal areas will see even more snow. this is the absolute worst case scenario. other models, some we trust more than others, showed this particular path. it follows the same route in the very beginning, but and sweeps into the atlantic ocean. with that, it brings far less snow into the area. you are talking some areas around the greater baltimore area. anywhere from a dusting to three inches. this is the storm we would rather have than deal with all those headaches. the coastal areas could see upwards of six inches or more.

there is a third path that is completely going to the south of our area. that one seems slim. it looks like it will be one of these two choices right here. this is what futurecast is showing us a sparse snowfall -- join us as part as snowfall. with christmas eve, we're picking up something in terms of the snowfall. tonight's forecast is clear, cold, 20 to 25 degrees. strong winds, then heading into the seven-day. christmas eve, you will have some flurries, and then the weekend storm, we will keep a close eye on it. if it does no, it will end on monday afternoon and a meltdown will begin on tuesday and wednesday to. >> dr. kim hammond it from falls road animal hospital is here to answer the pet questions. >> i have santa paws.
