These groups of volunteers continually go above and beyond the call of duty. The desk volunteers are a very committed and loyal group who take their position as seriously as a paid position. The volunteers register seniors for membership, classes, trips, lunches, and special events. They also give senior center tours, show people to their classrooms, keep up with class counts, and let staff know when something needs attention. Tzu Chi is an international humanitarian organization and a non-governmental organization with an international network of volunteers.
