XI. OLD BUSINESS:
A. Bowie Town Center Basic Plan Amendment (#A-8589-04) – The applicant, Seritage SRC Finance, LLC, is proposing to redevelop the existing 10.81-acre Sears Property with: up to 800 residential dwelling units (multifamily, townhouses (not to exceed 150 units) and/or beds in an assisted living facility); retail uses, including restaurants and shops; a hotel use, with a maximum of 150 rooms; and/or, office uses. The site of subject property is located on the southern side of MD Route 197, and the western and northern sides of Evergreen Parkway. The property is zoned M-A-C (Major Activity Center), where the proposed uses are permitted by right under the Prince George’s County Zoning Ordinance – Eligible for Action
B. Hall Station Annexation - Staff will discuss the expenditure estimate for servicing the annexation area
C. Bowie Youth Council - Council will adopt Resolution R-69-20 forming a Bowie Youth Council
XII. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Bowie and Vicinity Master Plan - Presentation by M-NCPPC on current progress and outreach activities relating to the Bowie Master Plan update
B. City Staff Overview of City Development Review Guidelines and Policies and City Council Annexation Policy – The Department of Planning and Community Development will provide a briefing on City Council policies
C. Neighborhood Traffic Management - Jennings Mill Drive
D. Mental Health Moments—Interfaith Events (Covid-19 Related) - Staff is seeking direction, budget guidance and approval of the City Council regarding these events and the use of City technology
E. Bowie Interfaith Pantry Food Drive - Council discussion on assisting a coordinated food drive with Prince George’s County Council Chair Todd Turner, District 23 Legislative Team and the City
