It may have started out as a good idea.
Dallas Adair (Sandra Bernhard) is an American consultant brought to Australia to advise on a new golf course project. Once she arrives to her boss's home she wreaks havoc by seduceing every member of the family.
Directed by Ann Turner who said in an interview, "essentially came from being part of and seeing how Australians really worship experts from overseas. I've done some writing workshops where that would happen. An American is brought out - and the willingness for Australians to accept with open arms whatever fraud comes out because they're American . . ."
This film is a product of its time (early 1990s) when studios were little more than a collection of offices and film makers had free reign. A lot of great films came out of this time, and a lot of films that look like they had too many cooks did also. This is the too many cooks/ spoiled broth ones.

Confusing genre, but entertaining.
This film overall is a bit bizarre and hard to categorize... It's part feel good hallmark movie, part Cinemax sex romp, part family drama, and (for no reason) 5% SciFi. Not exactly sure where the comedy is, unless Australians have a sense of humor that just doesn't register for this American. Not sure how they approved the budget for this film *shrugs* Overall the film is not that bad, just a bit dull however worth at least 1 viewing just to confirm it actually exists.
