In honor of the late composer Shunsuke Kikuchi, we've decided to upload this trailer here and on YouTube, where you can download the raw file.

This is a 35mm trailer for the 16th Doraemon Movie called "Nobita no Sousei Nikki", which premiered in 1995. It features Kikuchi's music throughout the trailer, as he was the composer of the Doraemon series from 1979 all the way up to 2005. We borrowed the 35mm from @nappasan on Twitter, who so graciously has given us the permission to upload it in honor of Kikuchi.

The print was scanned in 4K, and is completely full frame open matte, so you get to see stuff you were never meant to. Because of that, no cropping was done here, and what you see here is the full 35mm frame. Aside from the color correction, which was also done by @nappasan, there was absolutely no video processing done whatsoever, so this is the print's natural state.

It is a saddening time for anime and tokusatsu fans of the world, but Shunsuke Kikuchi will live on through his works and the legacy he left behind. We would like to take this opportunity to humbly respect that.

Subject: Very neat, but the 4K trailer is missing the 4K.

Currently, the native resolution of this video is 582x480 pixels instead of 2614x2160. Now, this is a very clean SD video, so I can't complain too much.

Hey, this looks amazing! Is there any chance you'd consider uploaded the uncompressed raw scan of the trailer that I assume you made this from? I know it's more than likely a large but it'd be awesome to have it up here for archival purposes.
