The Nymphets are a three piece from Montreal and they take influences from the Exploding Hearts, Jonathon Richmond, and the Ramones. They play a lot more lo fi which works out perfect for punk rock. We recorded this the same night that we did Bob Burns and the Breakups except we did this session live on radio. Somehow it was one of the most seamless sessions we have ever done. The Hormoans are a punk band from Brampton. They are a three piece that has been around for a few years. The bnad features Steve on guitar and vocals, Matthew on bass, and Cyrus on drums. Their sound reminds me of various parts of post punks sounds which includes the DC Summer of Revolution sounds of Rites of Spring and Fugazi and then some earlier post punk like Gang of Four and Joy Division. This is a recording session done at CIUT in our basement studio known as Studio 3. This session was recorded to broadcast on Equalizing-X-Distort, the weekly punk show. The session aired on Sunday Decmebr 5, 2004. The band featured Zoe on vocals, Mark on guitar, Mary Ann on bass, and Bennett on drums. I also made artwork for a CD cover so that has been uploaded.

Let's Dance were a band from Edmonton modelled after bands like Wednesday Night Heroes but with more retro looking roots. they played a show out in Toronto and wound up opening up for the Tyranna record releases party on August 15th, 2008.
