A guitar driven 4 piece original band based out of Western New York, the sound is heavy and similar to bands such as Metallica/Prong/Anthrax. The band was formed in the spring of 1997 as a vehicle for guitarist/vocalist Adam Showler. Adam soon teamed up with old friend and drummer Dan Bess and the pair began writing and recording songs. Bass duties were covered with the addition of Minnesota native, Jeremy Pike. Gigs followed throughout the fall and a new sound began to emerge. The new year would bring lead guitarist Dan Stiles into the fold as the band prepared to release it's debut CD.Their self-titled CD came out at the end of January and was followed up by two (300+ attendance) local shows at the State Street Armory, as part of the Underground Tour line-up. A new 2-song release '420/Speed Kills' became available and wound up on local and regional radio throughout NY and Pennsylvania. The songs also found their way onto a compilation disk released on RUT Records in the fall of that year entitled From the Undergorund Vol. 1 that also included 8 other regional bands. The band took themselves back into the studio in January 1999 and in three weeks had cut what is now disturbed. A recording that captured the aggresive feel and raw sound the band had shaped all through the previous summer. The album features 10 new songs along with the songs 420 and Speed Kills. The album was completed and released in June of this year and with its release also came the departure of lead guitarist Stiles. The band, with tour dates pending, quickly grabbed ex-Stitch guitarist Nate Pawlukiewicz to fill the void. The band is currently touring in support of the new album and will be back in the studio in early fall to record two songs for the upcoming second RUT Records compilation release.
