Past research has discovered that psychedelic use has been associated with an increased connection to nature. The primary aim of the present cross-sectional study is to explore the processes which may underline this relationship. This will employ subjects who have at least one experience with a classic psychedelic substance (LSD, mescaline, psilocybin, DMT, Ibogaine) in a recreational setting. Participants will be recruited online to participate in a survey utilizing various questionnaires. This will assess; frequency of psychedelic use, ego dissolution scores (EDI), mystical experiences (MEQ30), and consumption setting in relation to nature relatedness (NR-6).
