A scoping review is being conducted as exploratory and preliminary work for conducting a study that improve the understanding of knowledge on risks that have an impact on dog bites in the Nothern Quebec indigenous communities context. This scoping review has the objective to evaluate the current knowledge on dog bites occurrence and related risk factors in northern communities and in comparison to other non-indigenous communities. This scoping review has been led by the following question: What is the current state of knowledge on the occurrence of dog bites and related risk factors in indigenous Northern communities?
