This is the Spring 1946 issue of Plane Talk published by Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation. It is believed to be the last issue of the magazine, and I believe the first post-war issue. I have not seen another issue after the August 1945 issue, which was released just prior to the end of WWII. It is possible this issue was scheduled for late 1945 but with all the efforts surrounding the conclusion of the war, this issue may have been bumped into early 1946. The cover image of a Stinson on a golf course epitomizes the long awaited return to civilian peacetime activities. Stinson was bought by Piper Aircraft in 1949. These scans have been lightly retouched, as I have done with previous issues from this series. More issues to come as time permits.
