This is not a bootleg of the complete Beatles sessions. It is, however, a collection of a heck of a lot of them - a 62-disc set that contains literally days of alternate takes, banter, home recordings, and other Beatles miscellany. Enjoy.

Thanks to the tireless work of California punk archivist Todd Pritchard, master tape demos of Green Day's 1994 breakthrough Dookie surfaced in 2019. Well, I have some explaining to do here... this is a live compilation tape made in ~1995. I've got a 2nd generation copy, so each track is at least 3rd generation, but I've got no further information. The sources obviously vary, but most are soundboards. This came to me as three 90-minute tapes, which ended up as four CDs. The author of this compilation cleverly named it "They Have Their Moments". I didn't add, remove, or change the order of anything from the tapes. Various...

Lost Gaucho Restored is a project worked on by John Conquest (aka Sir Mix-A-Lot Rare Music on YouTube) that aims to restore the bad quality bootlegs from the album Gaucho by Steely Dan. This is a collection of what I've restored so far. While there's still specific things that I don't have the know-how for to fix, and will update and upload the files to this collection when I do. A 7xCD bootleg (that I guess might be by the same people as the Secrets to Be Told box set for Radiohead) taking into account an impressive variety of demos, live tracks, and other rarities from the Smashing Pumpkins' initial 12-year run. One CD for each album era, plus another to capture the loose ends that didn't quite make it in. Track listing: Disc 1 - From Chicago, Illinois... Performing at some sort of benefit with acts such as Beck and Built to Spill, this was a chance for Sonic Youth to play for longer than their earlier '97 shows to a larger audience, continuing to premiere (mostly) instrumental songs from A Thousand Leaves . Strong audience recording, the first live versions of 'Sunday' and 'Heather Angel'. Track listing: [intro] Anagrama The Ineffable Me [instrumental] Wildflower Soul [instrumental] Stil Sunday Female Mechanic Now on Duty [instrumental] Hits of...

Recorded for Live at the 10 Spot on MTV, most fans consider this Hammerstein Ballroom show to be the ultimate visual record of the OK Computer era. The entire album is performed, alongside almost all of The Bends , and the visuals are captured in a beautiful proshot. The complaint, unfortunately, is that four of the songs in the set have no video due to commercial breaks in the original broadcast, but there's still soundboard audio (these songs are marked with a *). Also, an epilepsy...

A monster box set (six parts, fifteen CDs, 102 songs, 14 hours) taking in a host of excellent live shows from Led Zeppelin's career, showcasing them from the bluesy quartet playing stolen songs in small venues to the hard rocking icons playing stolen songs in huge stadiums. The music still rules though. Recorded on a boombox in the band's practice room at early drummer Dale Crover's house, this demo tape was recorded by a band then-called 'Ed Ted and Fred' to prepare for a radio session they were playing later in the month. Good runthrough of the band's early repertoire, not the worst audio quality, and a Cher cover to finish.
