Tenderloin neighborhood community newspaper published mostly monthly from 1977 to 1994. The newspaper began as a project of Hospitality House originally developed as an activity for the clients of its Drop-In Center. Beginning in 1986 the paper was published in four languages reflecting the diverse population of the neighborhood: Khmer, Laotian, Vietnamese, and English. In 1993, the paper fluctuated between being trilingual (dropping Laotian) and quadrilingual.
San Francisco's oldest continuously published community newspaper, the first issue of The Potrero View hit the streets August 1, 1970. This paper is still in publication.
