The Veterans Community Project's mission is to end homelessness for veterans. This press conference was held to dedicate land in St. Louis for a tiny house village for homeless veterans.
Jason Kander, President of Veterans Community Project, led the press conference by talking about the expansion of VCP to make Missouri the first state in the country to eradicate veteran homelessness statewide. Brian Meyer, CEO and Co-Founder of VCP, talked about the origins of the project. Missouri Governor Mike Parson talked about working together to keep veterans from becoming homeless. Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed, talked about creating a sanctuary for veterans. St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson thanked the cooperation of all the officials who made the project possible. Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas talked about making a difference for veterans. Missouri State Senator Jill Schupp talked about being apart of changing people's future and making an impact. Dr. Amanda Andrade of Veterans United Home Loans, talked about making good decisions to help others.
