4Paws 4Wheels 4Hunger - An Interview with Betsy Comstock about Hunger in America
Beginning September 18th, Mark Roberts of Stow and his labradoodle Mocha will roll/stroll across Massachusetts in a project called, “4Paws 4Wheels 4Hunger.” Mark will be in his electric wheelchair, using his situation to draw attention to the crucial issue of hunger and raising both awareness and donations. He recently had the opportunity to meet and speak with Betsy Comstock, who, with her sister, Carolyn Pesheck, visited all 50 states in a quest to learn about hunger in the US. Read her fascinating, comprehensive report, “Facing Hunger in America,” here. Betsy also serves as a key volunteer at Open Table, Inc. in Maynard.
