where it is three weeks since the deadly shooting at marjory stoneman douglas. this afternoon a grand jury indicted the suspect nikolas cruz on 34 counts. kerry sanders is live at parkland memorial, what are you hearing? >> reporter: the indictment comes as no surprise. it was two days of testimony to the grand jury. the 34 counts, one through 17 are for first murder. the remaining counts, 18 through 34 are attempted murder. the people that nikolas cruz allegedly shot on the rampage on campus. now the defense here, the public defender said that nicholas cruise 19 is willing to plead guilty to all of the charges, even before the grand jury came back if the prosecutor takes the death penalty off the table. prosecution here has said the death penalty, well that is what this case was designed for. he said the death penalty exists for a case just like this. and a trial could we very difficult for family members. but it looks like the prosecution is moving in that direction. i had a chance to speak to fred guttenberg whose 14-year-old doughtery jamie was shot and kill
