look outside at the oakland estuary. this is from our roof camera here at ktvu, and you can see it is a clear day across the bay area, a few clouds off in the distance there, but a much different story than yesterday when we finally saw some measurable rain here in the bay area, yeah, this is what it looked like a walnut creek last night. not exactly a downpour, but enough rain to bring up the umbrellas. pg and e is still working on restoring power to about 13,000 people around the bay area who lost electricity because of last night's rain. all right, we saw rain and the sierra saw several inches of snow, and that did cause some trouble near donner summit. several drivers spun out along interstate 80. there were train chain controls, in effect from king veil up to truckee, and we could see more of the same later on this week for more on what to expect. let's check in with ktvu. meteorologist rosemary oroczo. yes hello to both of you to all of you out there. hopefully you enjoyed the rain. we have more to come. and more s
