kyle rittenhouse was fighting for his life. of he was fighting or if his constitutional rights, the right of the defendant. and you see a prosecutor, lawrence, in this courtroom, a prosecutor, try to take away his constitutional rights. his right to remain silent. his right to participate in the process under the fifth amendment. and then you had joe biden trying to poison the well by calling him a white supremacist. i am so sick and tired as a civil rights attorney that the left is looking at everything, everything every day as racist. it's wrong. the aclu used to fight for individual liberties and rights. they took a pass on this case for this young man. you know why, lawrence? because they're in bed with the democrats, with the left. and the left has basically ignored the truth. as a lawyer, as an american, i am so glad that the the legal system worked in favor of kyle rittenhouse. this young man should have never been charged, lawrence. lawrence: you know, kayleigh, i don't know the political ideology of kyle. i do know tha

kyle rittenhouse is a white supremacist. you are hearing that claim constantly from media figures and politicians as a factual matter in case anybody cares, that is a lie. there is no evidence whatsoever that kyle rittenhouse is a white supremacist, whatever that term is supposed to mean. there's no racial angle at all to this story. of the four people directly involved in the kyle rittenhouse shootings, all four of them were white. you might not like kyle rittenhouse, but if you are an honest person you would have to concede that racism had nothing to do with what he did, how could it? why would a white supremacist shoot white people? it doesn't even make sense. that is not slowed them down. here is joe biden just two days after the shootings in kenosha. >> he is part of the youth police group. he was holding a long gone come out and about, nobody was stained him. what are your concerns about his -- white militia peoples during this trouble? >> i'm very concerned about it. what got me involved in this race i hadn't is what

thank god that kyle rittenhouse got acquitted. the only thing that could have made today better if prosecutor binger was compelled to hand kyle his rifle back with the magazine on the courthouse steps. they didn't make that happen. the real problem here is the message moving forward is we need to do something about this unlimited discretion that prosecutors have to bring charges felony charges life in prison in cases where it's obviously self-defense. it's not even a close call. they have no chance from getting a conviction. they will punish you through the process itself. we have to have a mechanism to hold these rogue prosecutors who are making these political motivated persecutions of self-defense cases hold them accountable and have skin in the game. they lose something personally if they lose that case. >> laura: robert, do you have any doubt in your mind if kyle rittenhouse was not armed that night and he tried to step in, that he would have been killed? any doubt in your mind? >> no doubt at all. they would haven't stopped
