charles: joining me fox news contributor morgan ortagus. will we find out how special the relationship is? what are your expectations for this? >> my expectations are not that we'll solve the decades long problem between united states and north korea over dinner. i could see this is series of summits this is the second one. we're at so much distress on the part of north koreans of the united states. americans have long forgot about the korean war. we went off into several other wars since then and our memory is very short. charles: right. >> but in the minds of the north korean leadership the war is still ongoing which it technically is. they think at any moment we want to invade, reunite the peninsula. this is on the forefront of their minds which is ludicrous to most americans but that is where they're coming from. charles: by same token they have a great relationship brewing between south korea. the two leaders are getting along. he is a pacifist. >> moon has given up the entire farm to north korea. his approval ratings have taken a hit.

ortagus. great to see you this morning. >> great to be here and a good morning in the sense that i think the reagan analogy to donald trump when reagan walked out gorbachev and said we're not going to do a bad deal you can i think this is one of the finest moments of the trump presidency. looked like he would be an apiecer, didn't get what he wanted, he walked out. maria: you don't he see this as a disappointment at all. >> i think it shows good things for the future. >> the real question is where do we go from here, both sides, u.s. and north korea invested heavily in these negotiations. so do we go back to taking it to the steve beaden level, to lower levels? is there another summit planned? the north koreans are still going to want out of economic sanctions. do we go back and potentially sanction these 36 front companies that we talked about earlier today. >> that's the question. is north korea really going to be capable of denuclearization? given the nature of that regime. can they really?
