we are led to believe it is bernie sanders, elizabeth warren, peter judi dench -- pete buttigieg who have the strongest operations. they have recruited volunteers who will be at caucus sites to organize their potential supporters. they have hired people who understand how this works. they had been involved with previous campaigns. what is less certain is the powers of the joe biden operation. while he enjoys name recognition and goodwill from democrats, given his eight years with president obama, he does not workingrobust a staff on these organizational issues. there is a potential that if he were to come up short, it will be exposed quickly and it would be because he does not necessarily have the grassroots support that senators moran and sanders have and mayor buttigieg has been cultivating. >> as you look at the polling and iowa, the former vice president is first or second. >> right. that is based on the fact that believe that he is best positioned to defeat the president in the general election. -- basically says, this is an auto election -- not an election for risk-taking. joe
