Mixed stand of subalpine and Pacific silver fir heavily damaged by balsam woolly adelgid. Most of the sub-alpine fir is dead. Ball-shaped crowns on silver fir are typical of damage to this species. Near Blair Meadows. Willamette National Forest, Oregon.
