The SegaCD is the best of the original releases due to additional cd soundtracks, fmv and extra levels. The 32x version adds an extra 3 levels from SegaCD version over the initial Genesis/Snes versions.  The game also includes a Bonus level where you can play the Original Atari 2600 Pitfall game. More on this later. The game is a fairly linear platformer that looks like a maze but you can really only go one way with a few levels having forks for a different route but still wraps round so you...

Virtua Racing Deluxe released for the Sega 32x at the end of  1994 almost 8 months after the mega Drive release.  Previously longplayed was the US release.  The game played in this video is the Japanese release which came out a little while after the EU/US release and was maybe worked on a little more before the deadline for that region. There are a few subtle differences in the Japanese release which include a different Sega logo animation at the start, an extra music jingle, extra road...

Stellar Assault, released in 1995 for the Sega 32x.  The game is also known as Shadow Squadron in US/EU regions yet retains the Stellar Assault name on the title screen.  The game involved choosing a ship and fighting through 6 stages of shooting up enemy vessels before the ultimate weapon.  The two ships differ in how they work each with the own pros and cons.  Feather one gives you plenty of energy and is replenished at the end of each stage.  However it is lacking in firepower and can...

Sega 32x port of the arcade game After Burner II released in 1995.  Much better than the Genesis release and much closer to the arcade original.  The Saturn version is perhaps the definitive port and possibly arcade perfect. Watching this longplay you may get a little dizzy as I did not check the default roll settings which means I endup in a roll with a simple left/right movement.  It often happens at the worst possible time while trying to dodge an incoming missile.  At the end of the...

Star Wars Arcade, one of the launch games for the Sega 32x released in 1994 and is a conversion of the Arcade game 'Star Wars' released in 1993. Initially seeing this running in a shop display winder when launched, the game looked quite impressive (although massively inferior to the arcade original) and one of those games I  tried to get more than a few goes on with the demo machine.  It looks and plays quite badly now, but my 14 year old quite liked it, but was never able to buy it. Anyway,...

Motocross Championship was released for the Sega 32x in 1994 and developed by Artech Studios. The game is long ans seems unfinished or under developed and surprising that the developer would have paid for the cartridges considering the state of the game.  The game is not particularly hard but it is quite an eyesore and migraine inducing game with its low frame rate.  Like nearly all racing games, it is more of a dual between you and another rider that will always claim first place if you...

DarXide was developed by Frontier developments (The UK Developer that makes the Elite series of games) and released only in the EU region in 1995. It was also the last game to be released for the 32x in the EU region. The game consists of 10 levels that get progressively more difficult, not that it is particularly easy right from the start.  The initial mission is to shoot all asteroids and alien fighters, but later they include rescue miners and kill more powerful aliens with less asteroids....

A collection of 3D Longplays encoded specifically for playback on an unlocked New3DS. I don't expect good playback on the original 3DS. Note: Only download the .avi files not the auto generated .mp4 files. Initially I wanted to use the moflex format using Nintendo's Mobiclip encoder and while quality was lacking, it wasn't bad for the file size and would have played back on an unmoded 3DS using 3D Movie Viewer.  Unfortunately I could not solve an audio desync issue. This longplay was done with FreeDo - the only exisitng 3DO emulator, so you will see and hear some glitches here and there. But hey, its better than nothing ;) Its still worth to watch it as the 3DO version has some unique features: CD soundtrack (some better some worse) Redrawn graphics (most are worse than the original) Animated scenes that arent available in any other version!

D is a horror adventure released by Warp for 3DO in 1995. Due to its huge success in japan, the game was ported over to Sega Saturn, Sony PlayStation and PC. Later that year, a special edition was released as D's Diner Director's Cut for 3DO that features trailers for the game, a "sound novel" that tells the history of Laura's family and the soundtrack of the game on MiniDisc. The game itself had several new scenes added to this Director's Cut edition. But unfortunately it was only...

This game has some flaws in FreeDo. The opening sequence just stops in the middle of a sentence, and all of the level select screens are lagging. I tried different versions of FreeDo, but none of them worked properly, so I just selected the levels immediately to skip the lagging screens. The first level select screen couldn't be skipped, so I left it as is. The game itself runs fine, so does the credits. There's not much to say about this game. It's more fun to watch than play, and if you...

This video contains two complete runs of the game on Hard difficulty setting. The first run uses the English Intro - Techno soundtrack of the game. The second run uses Brian May's soundtrack to the game. This version is perhaps the most unique as it uses slightly different cut scenes to the other versions. Its also the easiest of them all to finish even though you have to play through Hard mode twice (Same as medium on Amiga/PC version). Brian May's music is used on the CD-I version I believe....

Mario game by Nintendo. Tree loses Super Leef. Chick gets kidnapped by giant turtle. Plumber stomps on things to rescue said chick. "The green one" may or may not be relevant. Classic Mario gameplay (go through stages, stomp on baddies, hit the flagpole) on a 3D plane. Super Leaf gives you Tanuki suit (or Kitsune as Luigi). [Kinda Metroidvania-y] Game by Mercury Steam. Sequel to Lords of Shadow. Follow a storyline that involves many manly Belmonts and Batman. This came out the same year as Dead Rising, Oblivion, Gears of War, LOZ Twilight Princess, Hitman Blood Money and Black.  Think about that.
A pretty good AMOS game. Jump to 00:05:58 - to skip the intro stuff. The game and/or its manual might say the game require an A1200 with 2mb chip (some places on the internet even say AGA chipset is required - hi, Hall of Light!), but all 3 of these 'Relics of Deldroneye' games work on any Amiga with 2mb chip. So no AGA or KS3.X is really needed. But yeah, I can see why they tagged them as "A1200", as Amiga 500/500+/600 "generally" can't have 2mb chip.

No lives lost, even defeated the last boss without losing any energy :P, yay for me! It was hard to maneuver because the plane doesn't immediately turn when you hit left or right, it has to play the turning frames first, which made it hard to dodge things. Pfff, an AGA and only 33-34 colors in-game and 45 on the title screen? So, no AGA (256 colors) in this game, guess they called it that as it requires an Amiga 1200, sort of, needs more than an Amiga 500 has anyway, bleh. The first row of pixels on the title screen are broken for some reason, it's like that in the different versions I tried, and also in the previous Amiga longplay of this game (http://youtu.be/Qh1MZjoV1qo). Sucks not all levels were included, they could just as well, but most...

This is the floppy version, a CD32 version exist as well. The reason I chose this version is because CD32 has CD music tracks which WinUAE doesn't record, and I didn't wanna manually add them. I much better prefer the floppy version's music anyway.. There are more differences between these versions:. CD32 has: - FMVs, like intro and several more in-game - trail effect from the engines when moving around - no score counting sound on the "Level Clear" screen, but the floppy version has...

Subscribe: http://tinyurl.com/iamironclawsub Twitter: https://twitter.com/IronclawFTW Two versions exist, a non-AGA (OCS/ESC) on 3 disks, and an AGA on 4 disks. This longplay is of course of the 4 disk AGA version. You would think the main difference would be less colors in the non-AGA version, but nope. Both use HAM (4096 colors on any Amiga, right?) images. Main difference is the non-AGA mostly used the full-sized versions of the images, while the AGA used smaller versions of them but with...

►Subscribe: http://tinyurl.com/iamironclawsub ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/IronclawFTW ►My website: http://www.iamironclaw.com AKA: "Minskies... the Abduction" Just started paying it right after downloading it. No need to practice as this type of play-style is well known. However, I always check the manual to learn about stuff I otherwise might miss, but couldn't find one for this game, so ended up not noticing the weapons you have. You have a bar at the bottom where weapon...

Awesome game with great graphics, music and voice talents (IMO). The intro voice reminds me of the one in the intro of Hammer of the Gods. Didn't look up the names if they were the same person or not. Spent over a week on recording this game. Mainly because I get bored so easily when there's a lot of talking (almost died once when trying to play through FFVII on PS1). So only did 20-30 mins at a time whenever I felt like playing. I'm not a fan of talking in games. Usually when I record...

Game release year: 1998 I'm not much into shooters, but this was one was fun. There's some slowdowns sometimes because I run it on a stock A1200, which is fine, but I'm meant to shoot all the enemies, which I sometimes don't, as I amuse myself by avoiding them, which builds up in enemies, thus slowdowns. Here's a good example: 55:44. As I noticed this, I could of course easily instead shoot them to prevent it, but it's fun with slowdowns, and makes it a bit easier :) There's "AMIGA"...

Game release year: 1996 I included all music in its entirety, thus the screen before each level will last quite a while. When the music is done, it will automatically fade out and move on. Censored the ending pictures for YouTube. Lots of different screen sizes in this game. I always use the video res of the highest content screen size, which will make some parts have lots of black around them, as they are smaller. Some timestamps: 00:00:00 - Intro 00:07:31 - Main Menu 00:11:43 - Mission 1...

Notes from Hall of Light: [1] CENTER COURT 2 is a previously unreleased game that was planned for commercial release in 1997. [2] In 1996/1997, coder Gernot Fritsche wrote this sequel to CENTER COURT in Blitz BASIC and had the game 99% complete, with only some minor elements lacking (i.e. English translation was mostly incomplete; minor gameplay elements were missing, as was a titlescreen). Development was abandoned, however, as the game had grown too big (~10MB HD space) for release on floppy...
