I could go the easy route but...

Black peter
Wharf rat
Anything from Pigpen
Victim or the crime
Believe It or Not

Dis-Honorable mention- Broken Arrow ( it's a cover but always brought me down)

Yep, Pigpen never did it for me. Not even in a gerbil-sense. Thought he couldn't really sing, his harmonica playing was mediocre and he only seemed capable of playing one or two notes on a keyboard. Also, I found his extended "raps" to be unnecessary and forced, especially towards the end. Perhaps it was believed he gave the band some "street cred" along with bringing in the Angels for "security". That worked out well.

There. I said it. Feel better already.

Hate to agree, but do; I always felt guilty as a "defender of the early era" having to let on to GoP (recall him, I assume? The Orchid Doc prior to that handle change?) that I really didn't go for anything by PP. My fav tune of his, for how understated it is, is Operator. Easy Wind is OK, and BBMan, but really, they just don't do anything for me...

Mrs Tell is apoplectic everytime the all time great version of H2H comes on from 8/6/71, and she's preparing for "BBBAaaaaBeee" which somehow upsets her more than any Donna screech upsets me...
