At the moment I am struggeling with a PDF and actually I have to admit that my workflow unclear. I have scanned a book which is over 500 pages (300dpi, 16x24cm) and uncompressed it leads to a PDF of 5GB. If I optimize it in Adobe Acrobat Reader X Pro, the file get smaller, but still is a staggering 800 MB's.
I want to get the filesize down, but i've tried so many different quality-settings, but most really harm the file-quality.
Can someone help me out with a good way of preparing the PDF?
