A 3D Ambigram of 3D. 4 faces all say the same thing when viewed the right way. Pictures soon if it prints ok without support. Edit: Not to bad... but better than digging it out of support material. Turned it up on it's edge and added a brim to help it stick to the build plate. New version 2 with tighter text to hold together better and thinner smoother font.

Upgrade your part cooling abilities! Two designs, one if you're still using insulation and Kapton blanket. It bumps into one corner just slightly. One if you're using a silicon sock like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2871015 or similar. Each has an option for a tiny bit of built in supports for the block with the screw hole. This design does require a longer M3 screw, I believe it was 20mm. My first version was PLA and except for the one corner getting slightly warm it worked fine. My final...

One of my very first functional designs. Pop one of the side air grills off your 3D20 and replace it with this. Or hey do both sides! I've always intended to re-design and re-make but it's still holding all the things. So here it stays. Bottom right corner had curling issues. Didn't know of the magical properties of Elmers glue sticks yet. Edit: New version 2 various improvements, slightly bigger pocket with a bottom edge.

Case for a project. We've used a Raspberry Pi as a device for streaming audio and watching video for some time now but it's just been the Pi, external HDD, keyboard sitting with the various consoles and such in our entertainment center. Time to make it a single unit that wont reboot every time a dog walks by and trips over a cord. Based on GE/Philco/Emerson Art Deco models of the 30's/40's/50's. I haven't actually gotten the screen I intend to use for this project yet so the opening is an...

Liked the simplicity of Cabuu's eyes. Simplified it further and made it a bit more compact as well. Slot on the bar will allow the servo to move more easily. Didn't have a servo on hand to test with and already made changes compared to images. Will update once I've got a sg90 mounted. Print 2 eyes, print 2 brackets, print 1 bar, sandwich servo in brackets, attach eyes to bar with 1/4" x #2 or 2mm x 6mm flathead machine screws, use 2mm x 12mm machine screws for everything else. I only used...

I built a rack that sits behind my Idea Builder for multiple spools of filament but it's a fairly well sealed up unit. So these sit on the back corners to hold the lid up about 25mm to allow filament in. Here's a Thing describing how I built my spool holder that needs these. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3109117

While I agree with RGN01 that tuning your printer to be able to make good supports is a good and proper thing I also lived for a long time without the ability to print supports so I totally agree with Dapug that printing without them has its benefits as well. Here's a simple remix that fills in the holes and makes it a little more substantial which is good if your not mounting it and easier to print in either case.

Just had to do one more custom. Wider, since it's only two rows, (right up to the max width on my bed) slightly deeper on each level so things like bigger cutting disks will fit, and the third row converted to just a shelf for things like extra cutting disks, felt polishing cones, screws, whatever.

Well easier anyway. Disassembled and flat sides added. Print two wheels obviously :) The drum magazine from the original model was removed and a simple cube representing a box magazine was added. If I take the time later I may model a Bruce feed which is the more common (and functional) mechanism used. (Though at this scale it's still hardly much more than a box.)

EDIT: Uploaded the non-keychain version previously. New version has a hollow for a 3/4-1" -ish keyring. Couldn't get enough detail to put the seperate pieces together so created a one piece version. Used a combination of Tinkercad to merge and Blender to clean extra shells and such. Logo is tall enough to pause and switch filaments or you could just paint it. Next a Nuka Quantum blue one.

My son is getting a new drawing tablet for Christmas and I wanted to give him something special and personalized to go along with it. He's a big fan of minifigs and Star Wars (of course) so I thought a pen holder would be cool. Since minifigs already have the perfect hands for holding a pen I thought that would be cool but then they don't have knees which makes the classic pen holder pose a little hard. Then I looked at a Battle Droid, not only does it kind of resemble a knight but it's got...

Just got the V35 and although I've got a case, it was a bit bulky. Found this and noticed there wasn't a hole for the bottom mic and the top mic hole was slightly off. The LG V30 and V35 are almost identical but I only have the one so I couldn't say on the V30 if mine is still a little off but it should be close. I widened the top mic and headphone jack holes and added the bottom mic hole. So far just the honeycomb but will see about the other two. Done. Mine printed great (Sainsmart TPU). The...

Edit: Both X and Y Cams updated for better tolerance. Edit2: Realized I didn't add a change to the base I had intended. Notches to allow the snap-together crank handle to move freely around. My slicer doesn't do supports and I hate having to clean up after them anyway. So with a bit of creative re-engineering I made everything support-free friendly. One extra advantage is that the separation of the gears and cams means less printing time. Print one of everything plus one extra Bolt.stl (I...

Replacement trigger for PoulonPro PR25 weed whacker. Probably stronger than the original. If you don't push the safety in first it's easy to put to much pressure on the main trigger. Still haven't actually seen this movie. Guess I'll need to see what I can stream it on. Inspired by BiancaW's version I made a simple one for when you have the real hardware handy. A #10 pan head screw 2 or 2 1/2" long, preferably stainless and a 1 1/2" split key ring makes for a nice size and weight pendant. Just be careful of the pokey end.

LED seven segment display that uses regular 3mm or 5mm or 10mm LEDs just whatever size you want to print the box. Base to mount it on coming soon. My version of a mold for a Dremel/Flashforge and possibly other mk10 style hot-ends. I use Red Permatex high heat RTV and it's worked quite well. The trick I found that made all the difference is dipping both parts of the mold in diluted Dawn dish detergent before filling with the Permatex. Also waiting 24-48 hours so it can cure in that enclosed space. Comes out very clean though you will probably want to let it cure for another 12 hours before you get it up to temp. Designed in Tinkercad.

Replacement latch for a Pelican style case used by SmartBox for their key programming system. I believe the brand is actually HUL but it has no identifying marks. Seems they make a lot of drone carrier boxes as well so I hope others can make use of it. As my handle suggests I work at a hardware store, so for things that need durability I use the available options. Here's my quick easy solution for a spool holder. Currently it has space for 14 spools of any size spool I've run into. The basic version I put together in the first picture is two 6" corner braces, two 6" mending braces, a 1/4" x 12" threaded rod (it's actually a 10-24 in the picture, it was just the easiest to grab.) Inspired by DonaldJ's simple design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:647835 and forced by the fact that it didn't fit my print bed, I designed a simple rack with a twist (a 45degree twist) that just about maximized my 6x9 print area. Minimal layers and minimal infill, I'm trying 2 and 10% on my first print, hopefully will be enough. Edit: Came out very durable. Fit is close but not tight. Saw a great design for a toy sword and decided to make it a little fancier. Based loosely on the design from Ocarina of Time's Master Sword. Requires one gallon paint stirring stick from your favorite paint store... I personally recommend Ace Hardware but I might be biased. We give them away free and they are still the 14" sticks which some places have started cutting down on to save 1/2 a penny. Not quite a simple print, will require some supports.

My own take on the Toon Gun from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Based on screen captures and the original foam prop. Haven't printed or assembled yet. No pegs or holes except for the hammer (which is to long, I know.) Not sure if I will take on the Dum Dums.
