This filament sensor lever fixes an issue with some i3 printers where the infrared filament sensor always indicates that filament is loaded, even when it's empty. If you are having issues with the auto load feature, or the printer keeps printing after the spool runs out, then you can check the "Sensor State" menu to see if "IR:" always reads "1". If so, this part could be the fix for your problem.

A small redesign of the original extruder. I improved the fit and finish and made the tolerances tighter. The heatsink and bearings are tighter in their respective housings. I've included two versions of the fs_cover, one for normal use and one that can be tapped for M6x1.0 for use with a PC4-M6 fitting for a filament guide. These parts are not individually compatible with the original Prusa extruder parts. The screenshots show the orientation that I printed the parts. There's also a new part...

Improved MK3S filament cooling duct. Focuses more air directly at the part and the filament compared to the factory duct. Improved stringing on my printer.

This is a stronger X end idler for the MK3S and maybe other models. It has thicker side walls where the screw goes through for the idler, especially under the head of the screw. This keeps the head from pulling through the side wall as easily. You can reuse the three M3 hex nuts or grab new ones from your spare parts bag. You will need to slightly press the idler into place, but once properly tightened it will not rub the sides (unless it's over tightened).

This is a stronger Y axis motor mount for the MK3S and perhaps other models as well. This mount provides a third mounting hole for the motor and has a wider mounting pad with a brace. It will require two M3x40 screws and one M3x14mm screw from the spare parts bag that came with your printer. You will reuse the two M3 hex nuts and two of the M3x10 screws from the original mount. Use two M3x40 and one M3x10 to mount the motor and one M3x10 and one M3x14 screw to attach the mount to the frame.

Improved Y axis rod holder designed for the MK3S, but may fit other models. Two versions included. Eliminates the zip ties holding the Y axis rods to the frame.

This is an improved top plate for the Z axis on a MK3S and maybe other versions. I tightened up the hole where the Z axis rod fits into the plate. This plate actually holds the rod from moving around.

This is a set of finger guards for the 40mm Noctua and 50mm blower fans on the MK3S and others. See printing notes below. P.S. The 40mm fan guard will make the printer ever so slightly louder because of the air passing through it. I minimized the amount of material covering the fan to reduce noise, but life isn't perfect. Also, you may want to re-run the X axis calibration to make sure the 40mm guard doesn't cause any issues. It works perfectly on my printer, but YMMV.
