My original fan guard was V6 over a honeycomb mesh. The problem is that Noctua fans are so quiet that you can't hear them running. It was too hard to see through the mesh to check to see if the fan blades were actually turning. This is just the V6 logo (Shout out to Toys cuz I took the V6 from a Print screen of a video he made) in a circle. I can now glance at the fan and see if it is spinning. Because the 40mm Noctua fan uses M5 screw holes, I also included a file for some pins. Since my fan...

This is a remake of a clip by sysadrift. I really like the curved clip because the actual dimensions are not that critical. It grips the filament even if you resize it a little bit. I've tried several variations made entirely of PLA. They start out good but loose their grip after a couple of months. This one uses a 3/4 inch binder clip. It's never gonna loose its grip. The filament holder just slips over one of the handles of the binder clip. The notch goes up against the spring part and allows...

I decided it was time to make the break and switch my Monoprice Select Mini to a E3D v6 hot end. I went with the design from toys in the attic which has a very stable clamping setup. The E3D v6 heat sink is held tightly in place both at the top and bottom thus preventing unintended movement at the nozzle. I also went with a 40mm Noctua fan and wanted air flow at the nozzle to prevent stringing. I couldn't find anything that would suit my needs. I took that heat sink clamp and combined it with a...

Got this idea from Simmelbach (Arduino Chip Reset Ricoh SP213w Toner - Dupont Connector Holder). His holder seemed sort of small and potentially awkward. Also I didn't know if the Dupont connector would maintain enough pressure for good contact on all 4 pins. My creation uses spring loaded push pins so enough pressure is assured across all four pins.

I was watching a You Tube video by Toys in the Attic about modding the Monoprice Select Mini. I liked the fan guard he was using and contacted him to see if he still had the files. He couldn't find them. I decided to make my own. I took a screen shot from his video and converted the "V6" to a .stl file. I added it to a fan guard by Pyrex238. I use a Noctua 40mm fan that has M5 screw holes. The screw holes on the guard were too small so I drilled them out to 4mm.

These are accessories for a MeanWell-LRS-350-12. They are all printable on the standard Monoprice Select Mini 120 x 120 bed. There is an included .odt file that discusses each of the four .stl files in this download.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Thingiverse is now so buggy that I can't even upload these files. If I just put a couple files in here, I can publish them and and you can see them. If I upload everything, it allows me to publish them, but no one can see it. Not even me in the My Designs tab while signed in. The only way for me to access the files is through the analytics function. If I do that, it allows me to add or delete stuff. But when I save it, exit, and come back, nothing's been changed. If...

Made this part by modifying "M6 screw and nut" by henkjanv10. Used a section of the threaded shaft from the bolt and modified the nut (just because it was easier) to form a new bolt head.

This is a remix of the wand by Matteo_Arcari. The handle is one piece and the rest is split in half so as to be able to be printed without supports. The attachment point was redone. The Stand is from Chalter with no revisions. I've included my Fusion 360 files in case you want to make changes.

This is djeaton's Lithophane holder scaled down so as to be able to be printed on a MP Select Mini. Included are a read me file with the changes I had to make and a file about how I made my lithophanes. The corner posts fit very tightly but they do fit. I did not want to use glue, hence the tight fit. I used 40% infill but you could probably get away with 15 or 20%. I've used two brands of cords and they both worked. The thing to look for is one that has the spring steel that forms the...

This is an expansion of the helmet by big_red_frog. The .stl's are entirely his without any modification by me. His main interest was in creating the files needed to make the helmet. However he does not go into detail about other aspects of making the helmet - like wiring or magnets. This contains the files that one would use on an Ender 3 to make one adult size helmet. There is also an .odt file that discusses several aspects of building a working helmet.

This is a remake of something I found on Thingiverse. Unfortunately, I can't find it again to give that person credit. The original was slightly too big to print on an Ender 3. Since scaling will not work, I had to re-do this from the beginning. I like this setup because it utilizes vertical wall space much more efficiently than storing the cans vertically or horizontally against the wall. As usual my Fusion 360 files are included as is a .odt file further discussing this project.

This is a continuation of the snitch by Sideeffect001. I added wing holes and split the body so you don't need supports. The Wings are from Geordie_LaForge. The wing .STL only has one wing. Just do a mirror image to get the other one. After printing, use a heat gun to soften the plastic and bend them into the shape you want. The stand is my own design except for the HP logo. That is from fabiomontanharamos. As usual, the Fusion 360 files are included in case you want to look at them.

I switched from the stock hot end to a E3D V6 hot end. The clip for the heat sink collet is very tiny and I almost lost it a couple of times. This one is easier to handle. It is a remix of the one from deckingman. The front is beveled so that it slides under the collet lip easier and the slot to slide the clip into position is widened slightly.

Got the idea from CourtneyJMadsen. However there were no source files. The tube that this has to fit over can be extremely variable. This download contains Fusion 360 files, so it is very easy to modify.

These are two color Harry Potter glasses. The scar is done as an inlay. There is a text document discussing how this is done. This is a remix of the one by Makerlabarautomation. My design allows for two color printing without dual extrusion (Thank you CHEP) or having to have a whole layer a different color.

This is a remake of the one by cameronmakes. The skulls are from Stevebane3. While the use of a CT scan to model the skulls is quite impressive, it makes for a difficult print. Included are a couple of skull bottoms I used in a subtraction operation to lower the skull into the sand. I included two sizes of skulls. Pick whichever size you like. I reduced the number of facets in the top sand from 4,212,736 to a number that I could work with (Fusion 360 & 123D Design). I also included those...
