This is my Jumbo-sized catch bin for the Hornady Lock-and-Load Progressive press. It holds... well, quite a lot of fresh new ammo, compared to the stock Akro-Bin that comes with the press. The photos show 200 rounds of .40SW, and there's clearly room for 200 more, though I suspect the whole structure (including the sheetmetal beam supplied with the press) might be under a bit too much stress with a truly full load. I don't know. I haven't tried it because I tend to start packing the ammo into...

Made this 12CM fan shroud to increase efficiency (in silly, uneducated theory) and at the very least, to help locate-to-center the wet/soaking media tower in my DIY 5-gallon-bucket swamp cooler. I have no idea whether it increases effectiveness of the evaporative cooler due to aerodynamics, since A. I don't know squat about aerodynamics and B. I haven't bothered to do any A/B testing. But it definitely helps keep the cooling tower properly located within the bucket and centered under the fan,...

This is my throw lever for the excellent quality/design/value Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12x42. Should very likely work perfectly with the two other models in the Diamondback HP line: the 2-7x32 (discontinued) and 4-16x42 (what a great scope), but has not been tested as I don't have those scopes. If you try it and it works out, I'd love to hear about it in the comments. I'll be tweaking this design to work for my other scopes which include a few Vortex, Burris and Primary Arms models....

Get your bench organized! This initial upload is for my reloading die caddy that holds the 5 dies I use for pistol loading on my Hornady Lock-n-Load progressive press, WITH their Hornady "Lock-and-Load" bushing installed. On the front are a couple of hooks for the matching shellplate and powder-throw/case-belling-stop thingie (whatever that's called). Screw tabs/holes allow for a wall mount if that's your thing. I like to be able to move them around on my desk, but not everybody has...

This funnel is sized to perfectly slip into the top of a Hornady powder throw tube. Reduce gunpowder spills (always good), even when you're in a big hurry or being unusually clumsy! There's another nice one already on Thingiverse, but mine is simpler, faster to print, uses less plastic, and does the same job just fine. :-)

You could, of course, buy the lovely red-anodized aluminum tool from Hornady (I have one, it's great. But also overkill and overpriced). Really... they should've included this chunk of plastic with the press. The first time I got my shellplate stuck (and didn't yet have the fancy Hornady wrench) I was VERY irritated. To use it to loosen/remove the shellplate, click the shellplate FORWARD by a half-click, and press the tool down into the two slots of the shellplate toward the front of the press....

Arrgh! I hate it when finished rounds start bouncing out of the little red AkroBin and hitting the floor! Happens around what, 80x 9mm, 70x 40SW, 60x 45ACP, and less than 50x 223/5.56, no? Irritating! This quick-to-print little gizmo slips right into the front "label holder" and stops the fancy brass/copper/lead from bouncing off the concrete floor from now on! It's thin and has gaps on either side as a compromise for very easy printing with minimal supports (see printing notes). A...
