A entirely printable steve model with face and pickaxe. It uses 1.75mm filament to attach the arms to the body. The v2 version is a bit more stable standing up by moving the centre of gravity of the head back. It allows the arms to be angled higher. I have created a cape for Steve! You can find it in the remixes or here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:120678

After seeing the redstone ore from thinkgeek I thought why not print it myselft? So I made some nice models and here you go, your very own printable minecraft ore lamp. I want to make to make my lamp blue, since its the color of the diamonds, but you can use any color you want. If you use red, it will be exactly like the redstone ore, since they use the same texture pattern. Or maybe try some green for some nice uranium! This Table Cable Clip holder will stop your cables from falling behind or down your table. This is quite useful, because I don't want to crawl behind my desk every time I want to attach the printer usb cable. I hope this helps you guys, too. Inlet distance is 5mm (max cable thickness). There is a version for 35mm thick table plate and for a 18 mm thick table plate. In the design the distance is about 11mm smaller than what is needed so the part is compressed on the table. If you have a...

I during a small study break I quickly made this model as a practice. It is the basic block of the Fischer Technik play system (comparable to lego but much more advanced). I loved the system and it was part of the reason I am studying engineering now. Unfortunately I don't have the exact measures of the diameters of the block. So they might be slightly off. I made it as close to what I had in memory as possible. I also included the catia source file if somebody wants to change the dimensions....

---UPDATE--- I finally finished reviewing cleaning up and modifying the model for this Iron Man helmet. All the parts are now cut and oriented in a way that they can be printed supportless (exeption: the hinge mechanism, but it only needs very feew support). The banana allowed humanity to introduce a new standard in measuring devices. The banana has been established as a measure of length on March 30th 2005. Since then it became more and more popular as a reference length, gaining a large amount of enthusiasts who wish to see the banana as well established as the meter or inch, and maybe even as a new standard to unite the entire world in the same unit of measurement. This follow focus allows the lever attached to the ring to be folded backwards, for example for storage, or to be dis-attached, in case it is not needed anymore (the geared ring could also be activated through another gear). The minimum lens diameter is 54mm. The advantage of this design is, that both the ring and lever use the same single screw required. The design is parametric and made in catia. The screw size is M3.

It exactly fits our coffeemachine cups (5.4 cm diameter) and is designed to be fit between two tables. Why should you print this? Well as you know our tables are angled so your coffee would slip of it also by attaching the cup holder to the side you have much more free room....

A variable pitch rotor is used when the rotation speed stays constant, and the thrust needs to be changed. It is often used on helicopters and ship propellers. This model demonstrates the principle in a simple mechanism. These fins were developed for the Polylactic Rocket: http://maximsachs.com/polylactic-3d-printed-rocket/ 3 of these fins are used on a small rocket (approx. 1m long) with a body tube diameter of 80mm. The naca0010 is used as the airfoil.

This is a led ring light I build specifically for my Panasonic HDC-SD 909. It is a ring of bright leds which surround the camera lens. The inner diameter of it is 7cm the outer diameter is 12cm. The distance to the camera mount is 6 cm. If your camera more or less fits those numbers (+-0,5 cm) you can print it as it is. Otherwise it is easily adjustable. It comes with a build in battery housing, designed by Obijuan. 48 leds are needed.
