https://youtu.be/dBc7Nz0D_FA A fun fidget type toy created in TinkerCAD. Originally it was designed to use air soft bb's. I found some marbles so I scaled and adjusted it. Anyone out there have a large enough printer to use croquet balls? TinkerCAD link in video description.

I was messing with OpenSCAD and this design was the result. It reminded me of a sailboat that I sailed in for the first time this July. I love how orgacnic creation in OpenSCAD can be. The design is 1 piece, but I think I have it too small for the replicator on low settings to handle... It was an oops, but it made it appear to be two sails, so I am calling it a win.

A hardware store had plastic stakes for tomato fencing and such. 2.50 each, but the clips did not match the fence I bought. I made this clip to work with a furring strip. They are cheap and I had the spikes from a tree house project for the kids. I used a few zip ties to hold the fence what I wanted. Tomatoes are now growing up... not out. =)

Saw this one dollar laser at a dollar store and thought it would be fun to have a laser sight on my putter. Might even end up being the perfect fathers day present. =) My favorite part is the "switch". When you twist the laser to the right the button does not fit and is pressed. I left a gap where the second button is (led light) and it works like a champ. Just need to head to the course to give it a real test.

A filament guide that slides on the extrusion. It was created in TinkerCAD and is part of the top down Extruder Mod I am tinkering with. You will need the bearing, and either of the filament guides. I have used meshmixer to create one with supports already. Otherwise use the unsupported one and align it however you wish. https://youtu.be/qBQbCcmoIL4 https://youtu.be/nLQRCgwLhIU https://youtu.be/6Ef48CtHr7Y

There is a V7 you may want to check out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080829 V5 Guard is below the bearing. Also deleted the V1 files as they were obsolete. V4 All in one with a guard that was requested on the Ender 3 facebook group. V3 All in one is 4mm shorter in an effort to align it even closer with the extruder. Updated with All in One V2 It is pretty slick. I keep adjusting and tinkering with the Ender 3 just because it is fun to explore! At this point I am back to the default...

Created a dual extrusion spinner but felt bad for everyone who does not have dual extrusion capabilities. Enter the modular tri spinner. Print one of the bottoms and one of the tops in any color you want. Then print 2 of the middle ones each in their own color. Voila, you have a multi color tri spinner. Currently I have been touching the 4 parts with a soldering iron to fuse them. The bearing holds the center really well. I heat the bearing with a heat gun so it slides in easier. It is a snug...

Thanks to B1shop I gained a new skill today. His nifty tablet stand came with a blank which you can import in https://www.tinkercad.com/ You can then import a second part, mine was the lion, position it and make it a hole to cut it out. I had messed around with mesh mixer to get the same results and B1shop took a moment to clue me in which I appreciate more than you can imagine! I am still amazed at how easily tinkercad completed the steps.

I created these a long time ago... before I learned about manifold objects... I was lucky when I printed mine, but they did not function well at all for most. This is a re-creation of them that should be more printable. I still would not use them for a climbing harness... but the male one did work like a champ on my golf bag.

I love creating parts that print in place. I find it fascinating and when I can get my students to build one it is awesome. Even better, this lesson is created to get them a basic one that they then soup up to be incredible. The basic one is uploaded, but take the 15 mintues to create your own in TinkerCAD and then tweak it till it is the best ever. Side note... I have scaled the Z axis and printed it at half height successfully. I will also post videos of the cool adjust students have already...

This is a Minecraft Wither created by Jack, an 8th grader I teach. The design is using my 5 by 5 Tinkercad cube creation technique. There is a hole in the foot for a stand. I created my stand with the OMT laser cutter. If there is interest I can work on a 3D printable version of that too. Just let me know in the comments. I used the rotated 90-degree version and just added support in cura. We have given you 3 to pick from though. Jack got his start with this video: https://youtu.be/aGZOCjfoLRc...

I have always loved these cubes, but the fail rate I had when printing was frustrating. I brought the individual cubes into tinkercad and then created my own hinges using a banana shape where it benefited the print. I have had great success on all of my Makerbot machines (2x, 2, and +), the printrbot Simple Metal and the A8. I have not had luck on the DeltaGo...
