I'm sharing my 35mm film digitizing setup and hope you like it. If you like it, post a make. I used most parts 3d printed, except 15mm aluminium tubes and arca swiss QR clamp. Any video light can be used, but I used a Viltrox video LED light with adjustable color temperature. It cost about $25. It is powered by 12V DC via a standard 5.5x2.1mm plug. It seems to use cool and warm white LEDs and by adjusting ratio of the 2 groups, it can be cooler or warmer white color and light intensity can also...

Case for 2 LR44 cells, which uses PET soda bottle screw cap. Many cameras use these, for example Olympus OM-2 and OM-4. One version is to be attached on a string or keyring, second version is to be mounted on camera strap, so you have your spare batteries always with you.

Tool to help you align SPD cleats on your shoes. I found plenty for the roadie stype SPD-SL (LOOK) cleats, but none for the MTB cleats, so I designed my own. Measurements for the cleat taken from SM-SH51 cleats. The important contact points for the tool are the left-right and arms of the "cross". The front pointy part does not touch the tool. You can use the hole in the handle to align particular part of the sole of your shoe. Warning: untested, will print tomorrow and update thing...

the parts have enough tolerance on the axles, but it really doesn't have to be tight, even the original parts fit very loosely fit inside the 2" core is quite tight, you might want to decrease horizontal expansion in slicer to -0.2 or thereabouts depending on how precise dimensions your printer can print. Or simply sand it after printing for easier fit. v2 files have the outer diameter reduced by 0.5mm, those should be printed without further dimension reduction. It doesn't fit much film...

I designed this tool to check if my lens hood will cause vignetting. It has an opening the size of APS-C sensor at the correct flange focal distance of 17.7mm with front diameter the size of Fujifilm X bayonet. You just put it on the back of the lens and observe if a hood attached to the front of the lens will be visible through the opening at the back. It is important to watch especially near the edges and in corners. You could also put a frosted tape on the opening to simulate a focussing...

Fully customizable lens hood bayonet generator for lens hoods with 2 bayonet lugs. Easily printable, only 45deg overhangs. Use this to generate the bayonet and then design your own hood on top of it, or use the code as a module in your own OpenSCAD script ;)

Remixed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3271305 Back film door latch for Canon EOS 30 / 50. They tend to break. Replacement part can also be bought for about $10 from china on ebay, but why would anyone with a 3D printer to that ;) I improved upon the design of iscand by reducing useless overhang, and adding built-in supports for the other overhang. It can be easily removed by a knife or tiny chisel, therefore print without supports. The meltable columns for attaching the metal contact...

This is a printable cap for the motor drive (winder) connection at the bottom of Olympus OM-1 and OM-2. (OM-3 and OM-4 use different screw-in cap). These cost $15 or more on eb*y, but if it's not for the shelf queen camera, this printed one will work just as well as the original. It keeps dust and dirt away from the gears inside the camera. I have once bought an OM-1 which was missing the cap and was very rough to wind-on. After opening it, I found all the gears covered in fine sand. The cover...

A more robust and adjustable map holder for MTB orienteering. + stronger M4 screw and nuts handlebar clamp (compared with other available designs) + adjustable angle / height above handlebars (if you prefer it higher, or more in front) for 31.8mm handlebar diameter print 1x side + 1x side mirrored ! (should be a simple slicer setting, just keep it in mind) *Room for improvement: * - strengthen the handlebar clamp (more material around the nut) - remove some stress risers (where the handlebar...

On my printer with 2 Z leadscrews and only 1 Z endstop sensor sometimes the screws get out of sync. This simple device attaches to the coupler and I can quickly check if the leadscrews are in the same starting position after homing Z axis.

What has been changed on the original thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4767889 - shorter rear side, the bayonet lugs sit directly on the printing surface, the bayonet lugs will have correct thickness, and needs less supports (_though for v1 supports are still needed_) and - actual locking bayonet instead od relying just on friction and tightness (which could cause vignetting if the hood rotated and you didn't notice it) - version v2 doesn't need supports because it was difficult as hell...

These tend to get lost, so here are 2 models: - one with Torx T40 socket - another one with 2mm holes for pin nosed pliers or similar tool Warning: Haven't printed it yet. The Torx socket is modeled by this thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3600358 just scaled down to be 6.75mm wide. I never realized how big problem is to get hold of Torx shape model of the proper size...
