This chair was created as a test model for our pellet printer, GBX, and to test pilot a collaboration with Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. We used 2x2 scraps from ReStore and recycled plastic to create an outdoor chair! It can also be printed using a regular extruder. There were no fasteners used in this design, masking tape was wrapped around the ends of the wood to create a tight fit, then there was a bit of wood glue for good measure. This week's free print Friday is a fun hexagonal planter that can either sit on your desk or hang on a wall. The front panel was cut from thin birch plywood. The planter was printed on our Gigabot X using recycled PET pellets.

We've had a lot of questions about casting concrete with 3D prints. Haven't tried it yet but surely it's very possible and has been done. Mocked up this table as a test and will create a negative mold which I will upload at a later date. We will print the mold and try it out! Until then, feel free to print this side table. A simple door pull attachment for hands-free opening. The space between the door and the handle should be 2 inches or slightly more and the pipe should be 1" or slightly smaller. We went through a few iterations to come up with a comfortable mask. There will be one more iteration that changes the top portion of the nose a little bit to make it more comfortable. The seal is designed to flex a bit and conform to your face. We tested several different profiles and came up with one that we felt worked best. This is out latest revision which is now easier to print. No overhangs over 67 degrees. If printing in PLA you will have to make the filter 98% in size.

We used 2x2 scraps from ReStore and recycled plastic to create an outdoor chair! It can also be printed using a regular extruder. Just mirror the one side to get the other. This one uses screws to hold it together, there are screw channels designed in place.
