This is a XMLR-3A laser rifle as seen in the original G.I. JOE cartoon from the 80s. I made this to be 1/12 scale so it works with the new 6-inch G.I. JOE Classified line from Hasbro.

I purchased a tripod head, but it took 3/8x16 threads. I wanted to be able to mount this one on top of a tripod shoe, so designed an adapter with 1/4x20 threads on the inside. This took a few iterations. Settled on a large handle for screwing it in. While the outside threads printed and worked easily, the inside threads were tight. After a few attempts at making the hole larger and threads smaller, I was finally able to get it to accept the 1/4x20 screw smoothly. Your mileage may vary.

This is another tool holder that is specific to my CR-10, but might be of use to someone else. My Printer space is quite cramped at 28" x 30". I've wanted to move the control box under the machine. This requires several modifications. 1) Raise the machine enough. 2) Extend cables to reach the new position. 3) Move the on/off switch to the front of the box. This also precludes the use of the sit-on-top tool holders, so I modeled this so I can fit one on either side of the control box...

This is a part to convert the 3 x D cell batteries of a large flashlight to run off one LiPo battery. Voltages should be compatible. 3xD = 3 to 4.5V. 1 18650 = 3 to 4.2 V. This includes no overvoltage, undervoltage, BMS, or current protection so caution is advised and use at your own risk. Consider adding such features to your circuitry.
