Made this because I wanted and dual color Punisher fan guard. The logo snaps on to the fan guard. It is for a 30mm fan but I suspect it should scale up 125% to 40mm just fine. I don't know if it will scale down though. The logo is already on the small side.

Like the other 40mm fan adapter this one is standalone, you dont need a backplate, it can be mounted as is, just 1 screw required. i used only 5% infill Grid. Air flow is so good that i had to lower the fan speed to 50% Update (10/10/18) Version 2 has a better holder clips.

Found a fan grill from Thermaltake, but it only came in a 120mm size. So I used it as a reference, and designed one similar to fit a 40mm fan. This is a 2 part fan grill designed to be printed in 2 different colors. The "BASE" and the "SPOKE" are printed separately, then they are pressed together. There is an area under the "SPOKE" to allow glue (or epoxy) to pool, to limit the amount that can spill out. I was able to press mine together without the use of any glue.

Simple adapter to mount 40mm blower fan to a regular 40mm fan slot. I had some 40mm blower fan around and was curious to see if these blower fan will perform better than the conventional axial fan in cooling the feed stepper motor. This is a combo of the 40mm fan guards by Pierresteyn5 and Prot0typ1cal Admittedly, the Stator blades are a little bit thin and potentially a challenging print if your looking for a smooth finished product. Anybody's suggestions for optimized print settings are welcome. Enjoy! :) *If your looking closely at my pic I use cyanoacrylate to glue my parts together to shave off the weight of the bolts*

I added a duct with a side mounted fan (similar to Prusa duct) on my Ender 3. With a Sunon 4020 fan and the mounting screws there was no room to add a screw mounted fan grill without interfering with the X end stop. Rather than mount it using screws, I decided to just setup a clip-on fan guard. I love the look of Rom1330's 'Fan Guard, 40 mm for geeetech I3 X', but my 1 fan is mounted with an edge on a flat surface. Because of the flange on his guard, I was unable to use it. So, if you happen to have the same issue, here ya go!

Simple fan cover, bulges outwards with lots of little holes, for that wonderful infested look. The holes (apart from the screw holes, obviously) are deliberately off centre; I figured I'd mention that because it might bother some people. V2 added, which has cutouts allowing for cable routing around the grille. I had to scale down to 38mm to line up with the screw holes.

Summary English I had a couple of spare fans from old computers. But the mounts were broken. So this is a new one ;-) Available in multiple versions: Thin / Thick: "Thin" has thiner walls but provides more room around the blades and let more space for air flow. I prefer this one. But use the "Thick" if your print with "Thin" goes wrong because of walls. Hole/Plain: with or without a hole on the bottom. Depends on the fan itself. Use the one you prefer ;-)...

I liked zeegoo's control box fan cover and remixed it to work with my hot end 40mm fan. I don't like the idea of the fan inlet getting heated air off the hot bed so I like this cover pointing up. There are two versions, one was my original and uses longer bolts and the other is a newer one and uses shorter bolts. Any issues or problems contact me right away and I will see what I can do to fix them.

Extended the length for 100mm of LED strip (6 lights) for 8mm wide. I soldered wires onto the strip and into the fan power for hot end cooler. It's a bit bright in the current orientation.

This is made to fit my [Lion Mount Front Sensor](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2873811) mount. It has a large clamp that makes the 40mm adapters I found not fit so well. This tilts and lowers the fan letting it stick out the side innocuously while still providing much improved air flow! To print place part on platform fan mount face down and print with support everywhere. This will produce an easy to remove support! To use remove the extruder and slide the fan mount down over it. That's it!...

A case to fit the Duet2 Maestro into an Ender3 Pro. It's certainly not easy to install but it works. You might wanna split the lid in 2 parts. Especially the 2 screws in the mid back took me some time to tighten. The model includes a 40mm hexagon fanguard and dampeners which are meant to be printed in TPU. The exhaust is a slit underneath the stepper drivers to match the recommendation for airflow beneath the drivers. Works nicely with the standard feet, but works even better with higher TPU...
