I didnt want the Berd-Air vibrating through my printer, so looked at ways to stop it. I fly RC Quads and thought about the mounts I use for the controller boards, Turns out they fit the job perfectly :) Just lay everything flat when you print them. Required 4x m3 flight controller dampers https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_A7nNUa 6x m3 nuts 4 x m3x8 2 x m3 x 10 Assembling 1. Fit 2 of the m3 nuts go in from the underside of the main body and the rear dampers screw into these 2. Mount the back...

This is my own design of a berd air bending and drilling jig, I have included several pictures to show how it is used, The holes in the tube are at 45 degrees the reason for this was because I found the normal straight drilled tubes didn't cool fine points to well and the nozzle heat would spoil the finish, The aluminium tube used was K & S 8101 Round Aluminium Tube (Pack of 3) 3/32" Dia x0.014" Wall and can be found here, I used a 1mm drill bit in a pin vice / chuck...

Berdair Anti Vibration Mount ====================== This mount is for the Berdair system. It is supposed to decouple the vibrating pump from the printer's frame. In addition I have added two large Noctua 80mm fans because the pump tends to run pretty hot. The mount is designed to be attached to a 3030 extrusion, it works vertically and horizontally, strong enough rubber bands provided. I am using 20mm diameter rubber bands, two rubber bands for each mount, this allows for horizontal and...

I have made a Berd Air duct for the EVA print head. I tested it only with the Dragon hotend so far. There are little notches in the duct as a guide for the holes in the pipe. I closed the pipes by soldering them. You can use the drilling jig to cut the pipes to the correct length of 32mm. Just put the 3mm pipe into the hole, drill it with a 1,5mm drill and then cut it. I use the a 6/4mm tube to connect the Berd Air with the duct

Mount for the Berd Air tube that utilizes the mounting holes on the Duet Smart Effector. I didn't want anything hanging outside the extents of the Smart Effector, so this mount is held on to the Smart Effector via two of the mounting holes and holds the Berd Air tube through the third. Requires three M3x6 screws and one M3 nut. Obviously this design won't work if use something like a screw drive extruder, but works well with frame-mounted or flying extruders. This is a remix of kuhnikuehnast's silencer case (without the silencer) to mount the Berd-Air pump horizontally from 3030 extrusion. I liked the way the pump mounted to the lid of this case but wanted a direct to frame mount that wasn't too big or bulky. You can print the frame mount in any hard material, I printed mine in PETG. Print all other parts in TPU.

I created Berd Air Pipe Bend and Drill jigs in ordre to make my own Berd-Air Pipe which can't be bought here in Europe. It started out as simple remix but ended up as a total rework from ground up in order to make the inspirational source files into something to handle metric diameter tubing. I also found I'd like a different approach to drilling the holes - making it easier for me to just use a small electric drill, but included a second version in honor of my inspirational remix source ....

Desk top stand for a berd air pump you can use silicone tube to trap the pump in the clamp or foam both work well, theres two versions of the clamp one with deeper grooves than the other, you will need a couple of 5mm screws and bolts to hold it together, I use this stand on both of my printers and they work very well, I sit the stand on a thin piece of foam to stop any vibes going through to the work surface / desk top

Let's start with a [video breakdown](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnl5iC12ndc). As we move into a world where toolchanging printers become the norm, we'll likely run into snags as the cost of the machine increases linearly with the number of tools. What if we could reimagine the problem tool costs as an opportunity to design shared infrastructure? The Berd-Air Selector is my first take on a compact, cheap solution for air cooling. This stepper-driven rotating selector allows us to reroute...

While up grading to a Berd-Air system on my BLV cube I need a good mount to isolate vibrations from my frame. I found a Mount By ShadowX Thing #2849793. I liked the idea but was afraid that the rubber bands would break over time. My kid has Nerf rival balls scattered through out my house as I was picking them up and decided to try to use them as an vibration isolator. It work really well, no vibrations can be felt at all in my frame at any speed.

A mounting bracket to attach the Triangle Lab clone Chimera Aqua dual hot end with dual berd-air piping and an inductive probe to the Hypercube Evolution. A strain relief is provided for the watercooling pipes and plenty of anchoring points to keep the wiring tidy and out of the way. This version only has an optical end stop on the left for the "minimum" end stop. Brass threaded inserts are used to hold this sensor in place.

This is a mount for connecting the Berd air cooling tube to the Railcore II MandalaRoseWorks dual/single y carriage. It is positioned to be able to swivel for use on both hotends, however it will work for a single extrusion setup as well. You will need some M3 bolts and nuts for this. I do NOT recommend printing this out of PLA. Hot air blows onto this mount from the hotend cooling fan, and it will melt if using PLA. PETG may work temporarily, but I wouldn't expect it to last long. I recommend...

Hi, This is my take on a Berd Air tube mount for the HeVORT Hemera using the V6 hot end. I don't have access to an SLA printer to print the cool tube version. But this uses tubes, and just does a cut inside the block. I printed without supports, and then shoved a 16g wire in each of the holes to clear out any PetG hairs. Since I'm just now getting to the point of printing (hopefully this weekend), and want to use this hot end for a bit, and will then upgrade to Volcano Hot End. When I do, I...

Here's a simple OpenSCAD-based mount for the large motor used in the [Berd-Air MAX system](http://www.themakerhive.com/shop/viewitem.php?productid=45). This solution allows for strong and lightweight cooling: Inspired by Berd-Air, fresh (cold) air is pumped to the "bracket" that mounts to the smart effector. There the air stream is split into two brass tubes which direct the air into the "nozzle". The minimal design reduces inertia of the print head and in case of a crash, only a single part (which doesn't require cooling to be printed) needs to be replaced. I use 2.5mm(od) brass tubing, cut down to a length of 46mm. A...

After purchasing a Orbiter 1.5 I wanted to fit my setup (ender 3 v1) with this extruder, but I couldn't find any design with this requirements: - Mosquito Hotend - Berd Air cool part - Inductive sensor - Endoscope I couldn't avoid to cut some parts to fit the bolts, if you have a better idea, just tell me :) I add the step file so if somebody can improve the design, just remix it.

I had this bracket laying around from my gimbal and thought it might work well for holding the berd air pump. I have not used the pump yet but i see many people making vibration dampening brackets that are way to complicated. So here is a simple one. add a couple 3mm screws and some rubber bands and your good to go

Here is the HevORT universal 6mm XCarriage for HT and ST x/y setups. This includes the BMG wind with volcano and bl touch. Also has Berd-Air paths built into the front plate. Use 4mm copper refrigeration tubing for making bent pipes to use as part cooling. Mellow BMG Wind 40mm fan for the front face E3D Volcano bl touch compressed air part cooling

Hi, This is my take on an anti-vibration mount for the Berd Air Pump. The main bracket can be PLA but I did it in PetG The little insert for the bottom I did in PetG, as I suspect it will get hot with the motor running. For the anti-vibration, I played around with 2,4 and 6mm thick Ninjaflex, and 4mm seems to be about right. I'm sure you could probably use just the top bracket, but as an overkill engineer, I used both. But if you only use a single top mount, you will probably be better off with...

The Beard Air System Air Tube Holder is a remix of Zesty Tech's Berd Air tube holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2453322). I keep breaking the Zesty's air tube holder so I came up with this design after 16 different design changes. The vertical tube holder is a little thicker and I moved it to the back side of the Smart Effector. The Vertical tube holder is 8.5mm off center to line up with the hot end. There is a slot in the tube holder for a zip-tie to help secure the aluminum tube. The...

I was inspired by ShadowX's awesome motor mount design for the Berd Air System. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2849793 My needs were different so I did a little remix and came out with this. I didn't change ShadowX's 'Berd_Air_Floating_Base', but changed the Berd_Air_Baseplate to the Berd_Air_Pump_Fan_Baseplate and added the Berd_Air_Pump_Motor_Fan_Bracket. The 40mm Fan guard I am using is from Prot0typ1cal. You will need 5 or 6 silicone elastic bands or similar. 40mm x 10mm fan 5v,12v or 24...
