This is version for smart effector and 40x40x10 fan. Needs 4 M2.5x20 screws. I've used brass tubes with 4mm OD from eBay and used drilling jig from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2445660 to drill holes.

I printed this on my TEVO Little Monster, which has a Duet 3 board, Duet smart effector, Haydn MagBalls and MagArms, and a E3D V6 hotend. The fan shroud is a modified SE300 fan shroud made to fit the Duet Smart Effector. Please not, this will cover the LED lights on the duet, but it should improve the part cooling issues that come with a duet smart effector. I have another version of the fan shroud that flips the orientation of the fan, so that it doesn't suck in hot air and/or stringy...

Rail carriages to carry the Duet3D magnaball mount plates. The distance these protrude from the rails require no additional tweaking other than setting the new arm length in Marlin. The fit is tight, but not tight enough to struggle getting the bearings in and out. The strain relief is definitely needed for the cable, or you'll be replacing the connectors within a week. Make sure to use it with a pair of M3x8 screws and some cable ties.

This hook is designed to hold the Smart Effector in a Think3DPrint3D Kossel XL Plus if it is too heavy to stay on its position after turning the printer off. Since this is the case after [mounting big fans to the Smart Effector](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2909853 "Smart Effector mounts for large fans"), I designed this hook. You need two M10 screws as counter weight in order for the hook to stay "open" by itself. When the Smart Effector is in home position you can...

I wanted to have less noisy fans for my Kossel XL Plus which also provide a more powerful part cooling. Therefore I was thinking about a way to use a 40 mm fan for the cooling of my hotend and two 5015 radial blowers for part cooling. I did not want to reduce the printable area of the printer and therefore everything had to be tightly packed to the Smart Effector. I found JimboRRs nice design of a fan mount but did not want to remove the self tapping nuts at the Smart Effector when changing a...

The [Duet Smart Effector](https://duet3d.com/wiki/Smart_effector_and_carriage_adapters_for_delta_printer) is a nice upgrade to a plastic effector. Nozzle-based probing, guaranteed-precise dimensions, built-in lights, and easy-to-detach cables. However, the provided 40mm fan shroud didn't seem to generate enough cooling with the 40mm fan I had, and axial fans aren't known to be great for part cooling anyway. I saw the [Tusk fan shroud...

This is a mount that I created to install the Orbiter V2.0 direct drive extruder on my SeeMeCNC Rostock Max V2. I had been using the Orbiter V1.5 extruder and really like the control that came from having direct drive extruder, but the mount was not optimal due to the size of the extruder. The new size of the Orbiter V2.0 fixes the non-optimal mounting and creates a much nicer setup. I'm pleased that I can mount the Orbiter V2.0 directly above the E3D hotend and have a fully supported filament...

Hi, this is a remix of jay_s_uk's (thanks for the duet conversion guide on your blog mate) nice Predator Smart Effector mount(https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3603550) customized to fit v6 volcano hotends. The fan bracket is part of the ducts themself now as I was not satisfied with the stability of the original solution. So in summary you need to print less parts (not less material though) and you spare 2 screws for each fan. If you prefer the original assembly but fitted vor v6 volcano...

I've been tweaking this for along time, just thought I would send it out and let others give it a try. It is designed for use with Maxiwatt hot end, Haden Magnetic Arms, 50mm fans Print Duct with ABS, the rest can be printed with PLA, the effector and carriages use 4 perimeters and high infill for stiffness. I have included the .step files, so remix to suit your needs.

This is a remix of dc42's design. My carriage hat too much flex so i designed it much stronger and with MUCH smaller tolerances. Additionally this takes the 2.1mm thick carriage adaptors into account which are added for the smart effector. Attach V-Rollers with one washer only, no need for a nut. I noticed the screws had play in their hole and would bend slightly because of the long lever due to the long distance to the rollers. So tighter tolerances and a single washer should improve this. I...

Mount for the Berd Air tube that utilizes the mounting holes on the Duet Smart Effector. I didn't want anything hanging outside the extents of the Smart Effector, so this mount is held on to the Smart Effector via two of the mounting holes and holds the Berd Air tube through the third. Requires three M3x6 screws and one M3 nut. Obviously this design won't work if use something like a screw drive extruder, but works well with frame-mounted or flying extruders. The Beard Air System Air Tube Holder is a remix of Zesty Tech's Berd Air tube holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2453322). I keep breaking the Zesty's air tube holder so I came up with this design after 16 different design changes. The vertical tube holder is a little thicker and I moved it to the back side of the Smart Effector. The Vertical tube holder is 8.5mm off center to line up with the hot end. There is a slot in the tube holder for a zip-tie to help secure the aluminum tube. The...

This is a model of the Duet Smart Effector. It includes most of the connectors and LEDs so it can be used to design a cooling solution or other attachments where you have to take care of the very limited space. Note the E3DV6 has a grove mount which is NOT what you will use on the smart effector, there is a special version using a thread/nut combination. I reused the E3DV6 model from somewhere and would like to attribute by providing a link, but cannot find it :-(

Update 2018/02/10: Added two more duct sections - one for 5mm OD aluminium tubes and one for 6mm OD tubes This set of parts is designed to fit the DC42 Smart Effector. Two versions are supplied - one has a ridge to aid seating into the collar. I use the version without this collar but you may choose to use the version with the rim - a collar that is glued to the fan...

This is taken from my setup for the predator. I have since changed my rods to magball ones (thanks Haydn!) and no longer needed to use my converter design with the smart effector. This resulted in my fans being too high, so I have modified the fan ducts and the fan brackets. This will fit all smart effectors when used with magball arms. You need to print one of each duct and 3 brackets. They mount on the threads of the magballs. I have printed them in PLA. The heat does affect them slightly but...

I wanted to fit a Noctua 40mm fan to my Smart Effectors (one with an e3V6 and one with a Volcano) so came up with this. One of my design objectives was to mechanically isolate the fan duct from the heatsink and the Z-probe capability so this mount fits onto the ball studs and only touches the PCB at these points. There are four versions: - one for no accessories (both ball stud mounts are the same height) - one that allows various accessories to be added (through having one 'foot' thinner than...

This is a solution to mount the SmartEffector's mounting plate to the QQ-S' sliders, and yes, by printing your own sliders. **Word of Caution**: You might want to get another batch of bearings/bushings as the original ones can be hard to extract without damaging the original carriage. _If you damage your original carriages, remember: I didn't tell you make this upgrade, and you're doing it at your own risk._

Adapter to mount an orbiter 2.0 extruder to a smart effector board. Its probably easiest to print with the orbiter side rotated towards the build plate and with supports for the smart effector mount holes. This is a work in progress and I haven't received an extruder to try it with yet, thus I cannot be sure it wont hit the rods while printing.

Many carriages for Linear Sliders on TV already. However, I could not find one for 9mm belts. This has 55mm ball spacing, intended for a Duet Smart Effector. It is OpenSCAD, so that can be changed fairly easily. Also, the spacing of the carriage holes can easily be changed for other linear sliders. It also features a belt tightener. . By the way, 9mm belts are almost twice as "non-stretchy" as 6mm belts. You do have to change pulleys, idlers, etc. This can be very easy, or very hard,...

The adapter is mounted to the efector using: - 3x 6-10mm M2.5 + 3x M2.5 insert nuts in the adapter (you can use M3 screws and nuts as well but you will need to enlarge the holes in the effector PCB to 3.2mm); - 2x 10mm M3 nuts + 2x M3 insert nuts in the adapter for mounting the orbiter on top. Downloaded the other smart effector mounts for the 5015 radial fan but they got in the way of the effector arms when utilizing the space on the sides of the bed. I've been using this part fan for a few months without issue. Good overhangs and print quality so far. Designed around my F360 Smart effector model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3229215

I wasn't happy with the cooling performance of the conventional fan duct on my Smart Effector. Especially on small parts the air wasn't coming close enough th to nozzle tip to effectivly cool the part, additionally the cooling effect was different on all sides of the model. Design goals: - airflow as close as possible at the nozzle - equal cooling on all sides - simple mounting, if possible single part design - include 40mm hotend fan adapter for silent operation It's a single part print...

Because there are not that many smart effector 5015 blowers and I wanted to print more with PETG, I decided to make my own blower. The 5015 blower is mounted similiar to a Tevo Little Monster Radial Blower, but has a lot more power. Very nice for PETG to avoid stringing. For printing temperatures around 205°C I recommend a cooling fan speed of about 35% and fan speed of 0% for the first layer. UPDATE: 30.12.2018: - added improved version v2: - 3mm lower, better mounting and much lighter Setup:...

This adapter is specifically to mount the Nimble V2 on the very smart PCB effector that Escher3D is developing with Think3dPrint3d. It uses a hot end mount that is developed by E3D. Have a look at the effector [here.] (https://duet3d.com/wiki/Smart_effector_and_carriage_adapters_for_delta_printer) In regards to the nut used to mount the hot end to the Smart Effector. There are two sizes of nuts used, unfortunately. 19 mm Across the Flats (AF) and 17 AF. Pick the right one. Simply bolt the...

This solution allows for strong and lightweight cooling: Inspired by Berd-Air, fresh (cold) air is pumped to the "bracket" that mounts to the smart effector. There the air stream is split into two brass tubes which direct the air into the "nozzle". The minimal design reduces inertia of the print head and in case of a crash, only a single part (which doesn't require cooling to be printed) needs to be replaced. I use 2.5mm(od) brass tubing, cut down to a length of 46mm. A...

I really liked the design of the Kossel carriage bei 3DPB. But it seems he lost his "source files". So I re-created the desing for my Kossel built using the Duet Smart effector and Haydn Huntleys Magnetic Rod-Ends (or at least the "balls" from Haydn). I hope this might help some people. The design is for MGN12H carriages (mounting holes 20x20mm).
