This is a correction to donnyb99's mount to allow space for your screw heads to fit. Ignore the flaw as it will not show up in your print, I just couldn't get 3d builder to cut the whole section and it left the last layer of the old piece. Just a simple adaptation for a Volcano hotend. I just moved the holes to mount the layer fan down 8.5 mm. Regarding the upper screw mount, I designed it to be used with a M3 brass insert (as shown in the rendered image) as there was no space for a nut after moving down the holes.

Updated the mount, so you can adjust the height up and down, it's extended 8 mm in hight. Adjusted the Fan duct, so it's cooling better (see pictures) New screws you need M3 1 x 20 mm (before 25 mm), 1 x 6 mm (extra) The fan duct is extended 9 mm to cool more properly on the backside of the print (see pictures of before and after) UPDATED! The head of my printer, V5. I added a 30mm layer fan on each side of the hotend because in the end, i had issues with the cooling fan being only on one side, it wasn't as effective as i would have liked it to. It now bridges really well, and in every direction.

I designed mine for the E3D volcano but also made a quick one for the V6 as well, so whether you use V6 or Volcano you have a bracket that suits.

Remixed in Fusion360. I'm in the process of rebuilding my Anet A8 Plus and came across this design. I absolutely loved how everything was put together, but the only problem I had with it was there wasn't any way for me to mount my capacitive ABL sensor. So I made one for it.

I needed a fan mount wich is higher / off center for my E3dDv6, because i modified my Kossel Linear. Printed this thing very fast, not the best quality. But it works.

This is my way of mounting an E3D Titan extruder with E3D V6 hot end to my printrbot simple metal. This approach allows for the Titan/V6 to be optimally mounted for direct drive (I am hoping to print with some flexible filament). It works pretty well with the caveat that you need to raise your bed to about level with the body of the printer and you need to print (the included) Y axis endstop spacer and mount it so it hits the Y endstop.
