These are the parts that are included with the FolgerTech Prusa i3 (plexi) printer. I have added the extruder body, which is a molded part in the kit, not printed. The first two photos are the product photos from Folger Technologies. The other three are my completed (and somewhat modified) kit.

This extruder is a great improvement for your Replicator-type closed extruder! It has been remixed from the direct replacement (original was set up for a smooth bearing and a hobbed feeder) to fit the FolgerTech Prusa i3 (or any other that has a v-groove bearing and a flat feeder). I have also added a small finger rest to serve as a leverage point. This solves two problems with the original design 9as installed on my printer): No more accidentally pinching the hot end mounting block (ouch!) or...

Wanting to put all of my electronics below the Y-carriage, I found myself putting wiring dangerously close to the Y-axis stepper pulley and drive belt. To solve the problem, and retain the same print bed height, I relocated the stepper motor and raised the belt plane. The result? Almost doubling the available area in the front and more than doubling the area in the back! Front is now 160mm wide x 240mm deep x 40mm high Rear is now 160mm wide x 120 mm deep and 40mm high ...without altering the...

There seems to be plenty z-axis mounts for standard Prusa i3 frames, but few (if any) to replace the original laser-cut pieces. When I pressed the first M3 nut into one of the plexiglass servo brackets, the whole corner of the bracket broke off. I used CA glue to fix it and filed the hole before trying again. Wisdom doesn't come free. So... Here is a set of the 'missing' printable frame components for 6mm thick laser-cut frames. These work on my plexiglass FolgerTech i3 frame, and should also...

A Simple bracket to hold an Induction Sensor (LJ12A3-4-Z/BY) on MK7 type extruders. Enables auto bed tramming/leveling on aluminum build plates. UPDATE: I've added a new version that lets a 40mm fan to be attached to the other side of the bracket. For power, i've moved the extruder fan directly to the 12v power and attached the print fan to D9 on the ramps. This allows you to control the print fan from your slicer.

This is my design of a spool/filament holder with attachments to either mount them to the top of a prusa i3 or desktop. I use a 16mm bar stock cut from the steering shaft of a lawnmower....you may want to print one. I designed the upper and lower in inches so it will probably have to be scaled by 25.4. Holes are sized for 1/4" hardware. EDIT: Uploaded R2 of the desktop base which rotates one side's mounting pad so identical upper supports can be used (rather the mirror of it) and added...

The Folgertech Kossel 2020 kit comes with a weak direct drive extruder with no adjustments. I designed this extruder mount to add a Steve's extruder to the 20x20 extrusion fame. The force is about 5 times stronger and the stepper motor never stalls out.

These are cases for the new AZSMZ Mini controller board and LCD display board. This new 32 bit controller board runs Smoothieware and was my choice for a low-cost, high-performance controller for the Kossel 2020 delta printer I built. I've designed the case to allow a 40mm fan to be mounted to provide direct cooling for the stepper motor drivers. The holes in the cases were sized with the intention of tapping them with an M3 thread (this includes the controller board mounting holes). Lids have...

I wanted a simple/strong filament spool holder for my Prusa i3. This does the trick nicely. Print two supports.. snap a M8 or 5/16 threaded rod across the top and your good to go. I use a few 628ZZ bearings, washers and nuts to hold the spool in the center. The M8 / 5/16 rod snaps in and out for easy spool swapping. I also included my cable holder for giggles. It holds a 1/2" braided sleeve out of the way.

Based on the work from charlie68 I did some remixing to adapt his Y carriage to My Prusa i3 by Folgertech. - Precise mounting for four linear bearings, keeping them parallel. - Integrated belt lands / clamps in the right place for Folgertech's Y ends . - Integrated cable management for the heated bed cables. - Various edges are chamfered to avoid any sharp edges / abrasion. - About 40% weight saving compared to acrylic and twice the stiffness thanks to the 4 bearing design. - Belt clamps...

This is a remix to use the folgertech bearing. I added a revision 2 which might make it easier to put the bearing in. I added revision 3 it removes the bottom of bearing mount to make it easier to remove supports and install bearing. I added a revision 4 which adds an inset to one screw hole on the bearing holder. i added 5 and 6. 5 adds a support. 6 adds a swivel for the bearing center and enlarged bearing screw inset.

I designed these to allow the common "SuperNight" LED Driver 360 watt Power Supply to be mounted to Kossel 2020 lower extrusions. You need 4x M3x8 or M3x10 screws with M3 T-nuts, and 4x M4x20 or M4x25 screws to mount the bracket to the power supply. Just use the M4 screw length that matches the version of the bracket that you print.

This LCD cover is designed to be used with a Prusa i3 printer **at the moment it you can use the holes on the back cover to drill into your upper prusa frame but I will be working on something that will slide over the top of the frame The LCD itself is available at RepRapDiscount: http://reprap.org/wiki/RepRapDiscount_Full_Graphic_Smart_Controller) and works with the newest Marlin firmware and probably with other ones. The design is a little mod of pablogil's one:...

Yes, another x belt tensioner for a Prusa i3 - this one is specifically designed to fit the Folgertech 2020 Prusa i3 version with the chamfered holes in the carriages. All the others I found had rectangular parts that would not fit the Folgertech version right. This one also reuses the stock flanged bearings the kit comes with. I did add a washer on either side to make sure movement of the bearings was smooth, and needed a slightly longer screw to mount the bearings.

I borrowed the basic idea from Mak-a-face, but changed it to use the belt shipped with the kit and also to use 2 ( 1" #6 screws and nylock nuts) for the adjustment. I chose these because in the U.S. standard are easy to get and cheap when compared to metric.
