This is a stand for the Guardians of the Galaxy Infinity Orb. It is a quick and easy print. I really enjoyed this model but was disappointed that it always had to be closed. I designed a stand that shows off the detail of the inside and gives the illusion that it is floating from some angles.

- Edit, This is a pretty awful model I have to say, there are much better groots you can print on thingiverse. It was made during a software transition period and was sort of part of the learning process. I saw this upload, and thought it could use a bit more detail. Resculpted but not to a stupid scale, I kept the poly count to around 50mb or so. Hopefully a nice resin printer will take advantage of it, I will need to paint it myself to get the detail out of it.

i made this with using a simple battery and led to light baby groot up. there are 2 holes in the battery holder for the led leads to go into to make contact with the battery. the battery and its holder stay outside but led goes inside groot. i bent the wires of the led so the led bulb goes upward into groots insides. i made mine with clear pla but white might be better or any other color would look nice. 0% infill, no supports except on the battery holder. i use 3 in and out and top shells, tho...

By request from a friend here's a Groot cookie cutter. I saw that there was a simple one already on here so I decided on a more detailed one. Everything should be fairly thick on this one so it should be pretty durable. Note: I did not do the eyes on purpose because come on, you're going to put smarties or something there anyways :P
