Extensive modifications of Bash tech's RC_Jet_boat. Reduced size to 70%, added holder for two 18650 batteries, 2mm brass inserts for hatch, hatch in hatch containing balance charge port and jumper socket to turn on and off, modified for 2808 Himax brushless motor, reduced main shaft to 2mm with 9x2mm bushings. Propeller printed on Photon resin printer; plan to print all drive parts on the Photon in the future.

A model boat based on the USS Independence (LCS-2). Integrated the 2mm centrifugal pump model into the hull for propulsion. For printing the parts, i designed them to not need supports or infill. Wall thickness is 1.6 or 2.4 mm depending on the piece, but prints great without support or fill.

I have had a few people ask for the files to my original rc jet boat. I wasn't going to upload them because the boat doesn't work well at all, but if you want to print it for show here it is. I do not recommend printing this boat for actual use, the lid does not seal well and water gets in very easily. It also does not run well in the water because of the location of the inlet nozzle. I have re-designed a totally new boat that you can find on my YouTube Channel.

This is a pivot bushing for a mercury sport jet. They are no longer available and I used it in replacement of part # 23-825158. I printed a top and a bottom. They are almost identical except I had a worn pivot pin. You can print both files and see which works best. They will fit tight but that is what you want.

I remixed the Balloon Boat project by Keye to make this fan powered jet boat. I removed the balloon attachment and have used a 30x30mm fan and two AAA batteries to provide the air. The small circuit board you can see is a voltage converter which raises the 3v from the batteries to 5v to give the fan enough speed to power the boat. Summary UPDATE 5/31/19 Began R&D on my end. Finding more time in life to work on this stuff i printed the last piece and should be doing some kind of testing in the next few weeks. This test is the 88mm impeller with a 50-65 320kv brushless. Running on 8S should give around 10K rpm and reasonable flow. This Jet Pump was designed as a modification to a old R/C boat I have. with an impeller diameter of 26mm it is quite large for the scale of the boat. The Intake features Intake strakes to minimize ingestion of pond weeds and was designed around the input shaft in a brass sleeve with a O/D of 5mm. This is an improved jet pump originally made for the NQD jet boat but suitable for other shallow-angled bottom boats. I will publish servo mounts for the NQD jet boat after the winter break. This pump is approximately twice the size of the original pump that came in the boat so be weary of component placement. I'm going to preface this by saying that I have no experience in boat design or RC in general. That being said, I am an engineer and I think I figured most of it out...if boat flips, porpoises, or otherwise does a barrel roll don't say I didn't warn you :P.
