This is a pretty rough cut at a configurable side panel mount. It's configurable for total panel depth (to include diffuser grid, plexy/poly, etc.) and for a single panel or attaching 2 panels on a side edge. At present, it's only likely to work at panel width at or near 2 mm and hole diameters at or near 3 mm.

This is a rough prototype for the first of many (OK a few) minimalist RGB LED panel mounts. It is untested, but I'm running through customizer to test. Remixed version of MLEVee's slick diffuser for 32x16 LED matrix panels. I recreated the original model using OpenSCAD so I could separate the diffuser and grid into separate files. I also added Customizer support, so you can change parameters as you like. I printed the grid piece using 0.3mm layer height, then printed the diffuser using 0.1mm layer height.

The bare LEDs of an LED matrix can be harsh on the eyes, and some displayed things, like letters, can be difficult to read at times. Rescaled the original to fit my 64x32 P4 panels and threw in a closed version of the 32x32 P3 panel because someone requested it to be able to close non-square panel configurations. I recommend printing this at a high later height but slower if you can to prevent stringing. My slicers insist on dragging the the nozzle diagonally along my prints, making small artifacts at high speed. These are easily cleaned up if you're in a hurry to print it, but why bother with unnecessary cleanup if you're...

I had a couple of Rainbowduino's laying around with the 8x8 LED matrix attached. It has openings on both end for the connectors. You will need to flex the end to clear the pins, and you may need to file the opening above the USB connector if you plan on powering it via the USB. I am using a hard wired 9v battery

This is a remix of the LED Matrix Stand by dave312 which was modified to fit my 64x64 matrix with a pitch of 3mm instead of the 64x32 matrix with 6mm pitch that he used. My display has a size of 192x192mm. These things (even with same LED counts and spacing) can have different back sides, so I'll attach the Fusion 360 file which allows you to change the hole spacing and size (which is what I did) for your specific panel. I've made this model to connect multiple RGB led matrix panel. I have a P3 64x64 pixels and 192x192mm, not sure if can be use on another similar panels.
