Summary I designed this as I have a MK8 that is going to be fitted to my super cheap i3 rework. It's the first thing I've really designed for a purpose, so be gentle with critque please... It fits cheap Nema 17 steppers with 42.2mm ish bodies ( has a little wiggle room), and fits the Reprap i3 Rework X carriage using M4 x 20 screws and m4 nuts, and 2 M3 x 12 screws and nuts. Wanted to cool down the extruder and make it simple. Using 2ea 30mm 12V fans with Ramps Fan Extender (D6 & D11) or 1ea 12V and 1ea 5V fans (D9 & D44) set on ramps board. Upper fan is set to start when hot end reaches temperature you set in Marlin config (180deg in my case), lower fan is PWM, cooling the part. Printed in ABS with support.

This is a part designed for mk8 extruder. It makes possible coupling a 40 x 40 mm GPU heatsink + fan over the stepper motor's rear face. Before installing, some CPU thermal paste can be applied between the contact surfaces to increase the heat transfer and cooling features of the whole set.

This is a remix of the Compact Bowden Extruder. It's the MK8 drive gear version. I changed the mount to use the extruder on a horizontal 2020 aluminium extrusion. The fixture holds both fans and is fixed to the carrier with just one screw, the extruder heatsink is fixed directly to the alu part with its own two screws. I made this for easier disassembly and assembly of the extruder as the original Anet A6 is not specifically handy. Pictures shows my working prototype, design files are updated to a better fit.

This is a holster for the pigeon mk8 (big surprise!) It doesn't have a retention mechanism, but it is long enough that the blaster should stay in fairly well. Fits onto a belt by a belt loop. (AS OF RIGHT NOW, HAS NOT BEEN PRINTED OR TESTED! DO NOT PRINT!) Edit: pigeon doesn't fully fit, I will fix that. Trigger guard sticks out and prevents the blaster from fully seating.

While not really a remix (more a rebuild) it is based fully on XDr4g0nX's MK8 i3 - 50mm Radial Circular Fan Shroud. The design is easy to print, makes an easy fit to Geeetech MK8 metal bracket, a 50mm radial fan should slip right on (given output hole being ~ 17.5 x 13 mm), just like XDr4g0nX's version it's just a slip on fit. This is a Mk8 Extruder adapter for mounting a Dial Indicator. This particular indicator originally belonged to my Grandfather, then my Father, and now me. My Grandfather called it "The Final Word" indicator. I use it to level my Odin One printer bed to withing .001" accuracy across the build volume. This is the makerbot spring-loaded extruder, but customised to fit the CTC Replicator Dual Printer. It uses the Gear of the original extruder. Here is a mount that I created in TinkerCad that replaces the MK8 bracket directly so you can use flexible filament. May need to drill our filament holes to make sure they are smooth. It is a tight fit to the stepper but fits like a snug glove.

The extruder mount made by Draman looked like it would be the perfect fit for my printer. however once I tried to install it, I found two problems: A lack of screw holes, and the mount was backwards for my setup. I recreated this model in Solidworks to try and solve this problem. There are two different files, one with a slot cut out, and one without. I use the one with the slot cut out, but I left the previous version in case it's useful.

I recently purchased this Mk8 extruder for my Mini v2. This Mk8 extruder is recommended for the Creality printers but I figured I'd give it a shot since it should be better for printing flexibles.
