I was printing some masks and was planning on sewing the elastic straps together. It was harder than my patience allowed, so I designed these things to snap over a couple of pieces of 1/4" elastic strap. It works really well. I can pry them apart and use them again and again. One could also turn this sideways and fasten a larger size of strap, although I would want to redesign the teeth in the center. I printed in PETG, at .15 settings, with no infill.

Customized Darth Vader silhouette on mask strap. It can be printed on two colors (I recommend bottom gray or white and top black) since last 3 layers to the end. I always use PLA and 20% infill with no problem. Enjoy

This ear saver was designed to be used with surgical masks and features a hole on the center portion large enough to fit a ponytail through. Only 6 layers with .28 for quick print time and flexibility I have noticed that when trying to download this file by pushing "download all" will sometimes give a 404 error, if this happens simply click the "thing files" button and download the stl directly.

Install on the lower elastic straps of a mask to increase convenience in installation and removal of mask. Use with half-inch elastic straps, or cut-down a wider strap to 1/2" (~13mm).

Since the original design was way to short for my needs, I designed it as long as possible while still fitting in the wallet. You can either print the creditcard-version or the longer models standalone. Works also perfectly as a gift.

This is a revision to the mask strap that I first saw in a recent news story (Quinn from Canada). Same function, but with a little more love. This is a quick remix of a very nice face mask strap ear saver. I removed the center section with lettering. This provides a quicker print and uses about 15% less material. .6mm lines, 2 walls, .2mm layers prints in ~20 minutes and uses ~3g or 1meter of filament
