Created this as another solution to alleviate the strain on the back of the ear with prolonged mask and elastic wear, as this part connects to each elastic loop, then easily connect together. This model has a natural curve and contours around the back of the neck. Also allows you to pull the mask down around your neck when not needed, then pull back up when needed. This is a mask strap designed to take stress off your ears. It was a simplistic design, I had made 150 of these for my coworkers. I didn't want to run into licensing issues with a online model so I just made one instead. Its simple took about 30 minuets to make originally but took several iterations of feed back. I only have 1 printer so it took weeks.

Another remix to print faster and fit more on the Mini's 6" table. The hooks are better, the strap uses less material and prints faster, is plenty strong, and if you are careful you can fit five on the table at a time. We have already printed and donated hundreds of the prior ones. Those who need to work in surgical masks all day are very grateful.

I created this Ear Saver Mask Strap (or clip) to include a heart design, since during this time of COVID-19 we are so thankful to all our Health Care Workers, who all are working long hours for us. A remix of surgical mask strap with added rounded corners since sharp edges are scratchy. Bottom has 45 deg angle slope and then rounded rather than fully rounded. Hope it'll be of use.

I've seen these devices popping up to hold a medical or paper mask behind the head instead of off the ears. This is a 7 min print with a .8 nozzle and .68 layer height not to mention some slicer optimization. If you are using a .4 nozzle it is about a 14min print at .36 layer height (this is pushing more plastic then usually so you might want to up the extrusion width in your slicer) I designed it in fusion360 using.

I had some expired N95 masks with rotted straps - and I really like the adjustability and comfort of the 3M half-mask respirator straps. So I created some parts that I can retrofit to my expired N95 masks to work just like the 3M half-mask respirator straps. These are designed to pair with 13mm wide and ~150mm long elastic straps. I've been using them for over 2 months now without any issues or signs of stopping.

Dimension - 162.1 x 32.9 x 1.8 mm Print Time - Approx: 20 mins Material - PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU Resolution - Any. Layer Height 0.2mm takes Approx. 20mins. Higher layer height for faster printing. We redesigned the Face Mask Ear Saver to be optimized for laser cutting. We are using scrap material from our face shield production. This would work in any NON ACRYLIC material. Acrylic may break and/or shatter cutting the wearer. Acrylic also doesn't handle most disinfecting solutions well. Material: .02" PETG sheet 50 watt co2 laser 60 mm/s 75% power Repeat the cut twice.

Trying to help the cause for the front-line workers that wear masks. This is a strap for the wrap around the ears elastic loops. This is just another strap design to help. Its for PLA, its only 2mm thick so bottom and top layers at 6 , and not much more for settings. I hope this helps!

Everyone in the maker community is busy designing their own variations of Coronavirus equipment, and although there are already plenty of perfectly good mask straps out there, I thought I have a go at one too. I made it look very similar to other ones out there, but took the opportunity to add the message "KEEP 2M APART" to the back. Obviously, if you want to print loads of these, it's not very practical, but if you only need to make a few it shouldn't take too long to print.

Most of the strap designs too much focussed about easy to printing and universal design. This mask straps are not easy to print but easy to wear which is more common problem subject in my opinion. I both tried printing it with TPU and PLA. PLA has acceptable performance with this design. But results with TPU is more effective; it is stronger and more comfortable with this design.

Customized Sipderman Mask Strap, it can be printed on one color. Test print on an ender 3 80mm/s, 3 color filament change, base color, then second color from layer 8 (it could be red but I use gray (i don´t have red at this moment) and from layer 13 use black. It will look awesome.
