This is an adaptive part for open press project screws: https://openpressproject.com/ . If you replicate a mini printing press, using a 3d printer, you need two M5 screws. If your screws have exagonal head it is advisable to print this wing head screw: it will easier to turn the screw! There is no need to use glue because the joint is forced. If it's too forced scale the model of 2%.

We were printing the open press project and noticed various parts of the press were not laid down flat, So we rotated them (Easy enough in most printing applications, however we had one that wouldnt snap at 90 Degrees). We also suffered a lot of issues getting the lower roller to print with or without supports, and when it did print getting the square axle/pin in was very difficult. We sliced the part into several pieces that lets you assemble and replace it piece by piece, and you don't need...

This is a very simple, but helpful OpenSCAD script that can be used to generate three types of printing plates based on 2D DXF designs. Essentially, this script extrudes a 2D design (loaded from an external DXF file of your choice) and either adds or subtracts it from a flat plane to give an effect not unlike relief or intaglio work. You can take these plates and use them for embossings, debossings, stenciling and possibly even ink printing! I created this script to make it easier for...
