This is my version of a standard Royal Canadian Legion Remebrance Poppy. Since I live in the US, I find it hard to get my hands on the real thing, so I just printed one. This one tries to keep to the original design fairly faithfully, but of course is somewhat different. It has the original black center, though you can use green, since for some time it was made with green, but has no actual pin or hole for a pin. From 1915 to 1922 the Town of Milton (Ontario, Canada) issued commemorative gold watches to returning Great War (WWI) soldiers, as well as to the early soldiers killed in action. There was no list (2011) who received the 118 gold watches, just criteria for their selection and presentation.
