This is an adjustable shim designed to adapt mounts designed for 31.8mm bars to 22.2mm bars. Specifically this part was designed to facilitate the use of a Shimano GRX BL812 inline brake lever on a smaller 22.2mm bar. This lever also rests on the bar, which is why the shim is so long. A set of two parts, for mounting a magnetic motor kill switch onto a Shimano BRM446 hydraulic front (RHS!) brake for e-bikes. Clips onto the rubber shroud of the handlebar/cylinder bracket, and the other clips onto the lever itself. I have printed it with ABS, 0.2mm layer. Required 5mm drill and a little glue. Need to remove one spacer from bottom bracket, if you dont have one it does not fit! Update 13/04/2020: After some real world testing, have added a new version (v8.stl) that is beefier, has more material and bracing, and has much less flex. Matches Shimano I-Spec II or EV shifters to SRAM MatchMaker X brakes. When riding a Mtb with the Shimano Steps motor up the hill with the helmet on the handlebars, there is the annoying tendency of the buttons to be pressed randomly by the helmet. This thing solves the problem ;)
